No, same tannish green as the rest of them. It might be the lighting. I had my Dewalt jobsite light bouncing off the wall behind me.

As someone who works in the tool industry, I can say that 7CR17 is ome of the more industrious steels. Other more expensive metals are really fragile and easily breakable. They wouldnt work well for a knife made for hard fast chopping swings. If you want American steel, you need to pay American prices, and most people wont do that.

@@matthewmcgrath3851 you have no clue of what your talking about. The United Cutlery Rambo IV is made of 1090 steel, Rtak II is made of 1095 (first run) 5160 (newest) , all theses blade will cut your last blood knife in half for better cost

Yes, it would be great steel for your knife, especially if you’re limited in budget, but of course, it’s not the best compared to other low-end stainless steel, and let me remind you It depends on your usage, so if you intending to use it, it has a good corrosion resistance and hardness, so it could be a great choice for kitchen knife, but if you wish to use as a survival knife or hunting knife, make sure to grab sharpening rock on you, it’s not so great in edge retention, and you might end up with a dull knife.

Otherwise I think they would be very expensive to buy... However the custom versions only 100 made is the one used in the movie, and they are made by a great British custom knife maker named Andy Wood.
