I always like to see these unboxing videos and like to see the physical books although I know that not everyone wants them these days due to the online alternatives. You may have covered this in a earlier video Lucia but what was your background in Maths and Physics before doing this course? Had you previously studied them to a high level or enjoyed them at school / college?

Can you for video on how to manage classes and full time work?

Hola Lucia!

I'm strongly considering starting this degree in October. There isn't much info out there specifically about Q77, thus your channel has become my 1 singular data point that I keep coming back to, so thank you! I was curious about S111. I get the impression after reading the course description that this is just an introduction to the natural sciences and only some basic math is introduced. I realize everyone is different, but did you feel it was sufficient prep for MST 124? Would you consider it the equivalent of MST 123?

S111 was very easy. As you say, it’s mostly an introduction to natural sciences and more for students who haven’t studied any science before, or maybe studied it 20+ years ago. It didn’t have a lot of math so MST124 felt a step up in comparison- but, as it’s also a level 1 module, wasn’t too difficult to understand. In my opinion you don’t need any courses beforehand, unless you have no maths knowledge at all.

Review after finishing? I am thinking about taking Quantum Mechanics as my final module too. I did Fluid Mechanics this year and I only liked the mathematical methods, the applications in physics were very boring.

I’ve just uploaded a very general review but will be uploading a video with all the modules I’ve taken and my individual reviews. I really liked the Quantum Mechanics module although the exam wasn’t ideal. I didn’t enjoy the Fluid Mechanics one too much, it felt a bit rushed in some aspects, they tried to add too much to just 1 course
