Jacuzzi Jay is fricken fired up on this thing, I've had the camera a week or so now and I love it! Still wedging it in an old hero 8 mount that I originally stretched to fit the hero 9, that I have now stretched again to fit the mini lol.
Forgot about hyper smooth and left it on in the raw flight at the end of the video but considering this will be my main freestyle camera moving forward, there will be lots of unstabilised freestyle footage coming up!

Yeah man gopro deep dive and color grading vid would be epic! I'm a bit lost when it comes to knowing what to do with my settings... I know we have very different climate so my nd would be different but the use of settings would be the same.

Hell yeaaa, thats what we are talkin bout! I was waiting for it....since you posted that photo on insta. I do remeber you run the hero8 some time ago, i would you compare to the 11mini in terms of flying/weight/durability and all that stuff disregarding the super extra cool stuff on the new 11?

dude i did! thanks for the comment man. I actually broke my hero 8 while surfing unfortunately, so i can't do a direct comparison, but i will say, not being able to replace the lens on the 8 is a big loss. form factor and all that is heaps better with this so if you needed a new cam i'd get this for sure

Has yours frozen up on you? I hear its a huge problem with a few people, but I bought 1 a month after release & mine seems fine. It has me feeling sorry for those who's freeze, but also worried that mine will start acting up at any time. I liked this video though. Keep it up, mate!

I noticed it freezing up a few times when I first started using it. But since then I've had no problems with it aye. Any time it has though I haven't lost any footage so it's no problem 👌🏻

Doesn't do 4k in superview. Which for freestyle is a must 👌🏻

I don't get it.. 20 grams on a 700+ gram quad is somewhat noticable? You'll have no screens to break if you break your screen (and don't get it repaired) anyways what kind of advantage is that? I've even heard reviewers claim the smaller form will improve wind resistance in flight.. Okay. Footage and flying look good!

Thanks for the comment man, yeah i agree as well with the weight thing. like i just tried new batteries that are significantly lighter and didn't notice too much of a difference. so it could be the wind resistance and all that because it flies a lot nicer! to be honest, i don't really mind or care for it being the lightest thing ever, good image, tough, looks cool, i'm happy :)
