Thanks Marty, yeah very surprised how well they handled and the great speed they had down the straights. Didn’t think they’d challenge the Carrera F1s. Although they are heavier with all the digital stuff and whatnot. I may have to try making one analog just to see 🤔

I do believe they sell Carson chips for Scalextric cars but these cars in particular don’t have the DPR door like the other Scalextric cars for the chip. You may have to use something like a slot technic chip perhaps 🤔

Yo Mo, nice set you got there. I remember those F1`s from back at the end of the 70`s. I also remember Keke Rosberg driving the F1 Lotus. In fact I had the die-cast Model of Keke by Corgi Toys back then. The last weekend was pretty wicked witht the canal cover comming off. Ferrari freaked out, because of it and the penalty by the F1 officials. it was a farce. But the f1 circus, since the Americans took it over has become more and more a Hollywood thing in my opinion. All those rule changes and the drivers are no more allowed to express their opinions, to me is totally insane. That is like a fascistic attitude the F1 is putting to up to the series. There has been also a lot of fuzz, because Andretti will bring on a new team and therefore all the other teams will get less money. It is all about that dollar bill and no longer for the race series at all. There are sadly no more races in Germany, like the Nuerburg Ring, or Hockenheim. The CEO of the Nuerburg Ring stated, the costs they have to put into it in advance, won`t cover the cost, that come afterwards in. The F1 has become very greedy in my opinion, Besides the F1 lost its reputation here in Germany a lot, because there are no longer successful German drivers and the issue about electric engines is a big topic, too. Only Huelkenberg is racing in the series. We still hang in the old fashion way of fueled engines today, but must change all our attitudes to it. I myself, love watching Formula E a lot and soon the DTM will change fully to electric engines , as well. But I still love the old fueled races a lot, too. That has been with us ever since we got into it. But we will become dinosauers pretty soon with that attitude, for sure. Good, that our slotcars ever been electric. lol Any way , good to hear and see something from you, Brother. P.S. Don`t take my last e-mail too serious. I was upset about YT and so on. I hope to see you on Rahul next live streams again, which only will be regular until Dec., 18th on Mondays. Stay in the ditch and race on! 🙂

Hi Bo! Sorry I’ve fallen so far behind in emails and what not 😅 yeah I feel the same, I miss the sounds of the screaming V12s, V10s, heck even the V8s….huh…I mean Sebastian Vettel is working on the sustainable fuel that they’ve been testing on vintage v12-v10 cars that have no impact on performance but have less impact on the environment… maybe if that’s perfected we can see the big engines return. I want to believe f1 will never go electric. I personally think Hydrogen power is something that can be looked at possibly. I’m other news the Leafs were playing close to you last week, they played 2 games up in Sweden! They ended up winning both with hometown hero William Nylander scoring the OT winner in the second game. Cool stuff! I hope f1 will return to Germany, I love both those track and they deserve to be on the calendar. Cheers buddy!

@@MPSlotCar I have seen the 1st game last week in Sweden. It was very exciting to watch it. Also a friendly time to watch. My team, the Habs continue the roller coaster ride like last year. They are not getting any constant form together. After they went to the cup finals 3 years ago, when they kicked the Leafs out in the first play off round and made it all the way in the finals, they could not win somehow, to complete the 25th cup win. Oh well, it is an annoying thing, but the Leafs do struggle way longer. May they have a fair chance this season in the play off series. They are playing pretty well so far. Hydrogen is a big thing for the future. Many cars, busses, trucks and trains run with it already here. But the problem over here are the filling stations. When I made my Facillity Manager Qualification, we had one block of electro mobillity and also ran thru Hydrogen Engines. That was 2015 and then, we only had 15 filling stations in Germany. We have many cars that run with natural gas and fuel, means in a hybrid way. But the new Corvette C8 for instance, the E-Ray, runs electric and fuel. It is awesome, because if you start to ride, you won`t annoy the neighbours any more while going off. At a certain speed, the fuel sets in and roars like a Vette should roar! I love that Vette, Bro! ;-) In terms of the F1 I doubt it will return soon back to Germany again. Too expensive, like I mentioned before, although it is a shame for us, because we have always been a F1 Country. But like I mentioned, this Holywood Circus is not really F1 any more in my opinion. I will watch it, but to be honest, Indy Car is way more interresting to me and also Formula E is fun to watch, too. Have a good one and catch you soon again 🙂

The cars are nothing without a good looking driver, slim can motors are quick. I wonder how quick they are magless though. Have you tried any of the NSR f1's?

I’d have to try these mag less and see how they get on. Yeah I have a few of the 80’s f1 by NSR and the new f122 by NSR, great fun to run for sure!
