Anyone I know who has an air fryer loves them so, when I found one on sale, I had to pick it up for myself. I unbox and test out this unit on homemade and frozen French fries. More air fryer videos to come!

Looking great, chips and chicken thighs work out well. I will give the frozen method a go. I got one of these to help out with cleaning, Silicone Air Fryer Liner.

I have a question if you I need clean. I look some video. She said you can put water and then open. It's that good or no.

Do you preheat?? According to page 6 in the manual. to preheat you 'plug in, 180 will flash, hit start/stop button and it will flash and then you can set preheat time. It will beep when desired temperature reached'. This does not work! I contacted T-fal and they told me how to 'set preheat' function. There solution also didn't work. Curious if you preheat. I purchased this on same day as 2 others in different partsvof Canada and they too cannot preheat according to page 6 instructions. Curious if you have tried and whether to preheat before cooking some items ie: chicken.

I usually preheat, unless I'm following a recipe that doesn't call for that (like air fryer nachos, where you don't want the fryer hot at the start). I probably forgot that there is some official preheat function...what I do is just plug in the fryer, adjust the temperature setting, and then press start. I give it a few minutes, then add my food, and change the timer to whatever I need. If I plan to cook for, say, 20 minutes, I usually just set it for 10. After it ends, it's my reminder to flip the contents around, then set for another 10. That way, I can't get distracted and forget to mix things around. I know my limitations. 😂 The next time I use it, I'll also pull out the manual and check the preheat situation, to see if I can come up with anything different. Thanks for the question!

Do you know if you can adjust between the temperature displayed (Celsius to Fahrenheit)

You know, I really don't think it can adjust to F. I tried diving around the internet looking for info...the manual says nothing about it...and random button pushing/holding didn't seem to help. I just have to convert from Celsius to Farenheit when I cook, as I still usually think in F. Other than that, I really like this unit. Thanks for the question!

What is the diameter of the basket? I'm getting my husband this air fryer for Christmas and want to get some liners to go with it but I can't find the basket dimensions anywhere online! Would a 9inch liner work? Thank you!

Okay, I just carefully measured it. It's not quite 9". More like 8.75" diameter. Depth is 3 5/8". Hope that helps!
