Unboxing video of the Accucraft 43XX live steam model

I am pleased to be back and able to do something with my great hobby again. This time it is an unboxing video and later I will fire up the model and do some footage from that. If everything goes as planned I hope to run the model at a GTG later this month for the first time running since 4 month.

Bonjour Bram, Happy to see you back and especially for a very nice steam locomotive duscovery. I like the white gloves, color so useful for our passion 😁 And I also like your wooden table 😉 Besides this, I would call it a 230 or possibly 460 so why 43XX ? Amicalement, Raphaël

It was described as a 2-6-0. The first member of the class had the number 4300. Later members were numbered from 5300 up and 7300 up. A few were rebuilt into 7800 class Manor 4-6-0s.

Very nice model, just one question; how are you supposed to get water into the boiler?

This will be shown in the next video, there is an enot valve under the cab where you can fill the model. Watch this channel for more.

Good video. Does that model have an axle pump? I'm in the process of fitting one to one of my models.

Bedankt Peter het is heel fijn om weer een beetje met de hobby bezig te kunnen zijn. De aandrijfassen zijn niet geveerd want de praktijk leert dat dit weinig zin heeft bij onze modellen. MVG Bram
