One of my all time favorite games, I have the anniversary edition too. Amazing 2 player experience and super fun 4 player (2 vs 2) game.

Hi Grant. Have you tried Battle of the Five Armies? Ares game depicting the final battle from the Hobbit. Also, will you and Alexander play the sound track or movie(s) in the background while you play this?

Soundtrack for sure! I haven't played Bo5A, but have heard it was also very good. That's one I've been looking to get a hold of, but first I'll play this one with Grant!

I have not yet but if we enjoy this one, and I see no reason why we won't, I will most definitely be interested in that one. We watched a demo at Gen Con a few years ago and it did look amazing.

Yes we did, had BLAST with it. It's a lot longer than expected. A good 6 hours game though, maybe 8. We played all day with the sound track on. Glorious.

I have the very old SPI hex and counter version with a mounted map, nowhere near as beautiful as this.

I am very impressed with the look of the game. The minis are fantastically detailed and would be amazing if someone would paint them for me (Alexander?).

I also have a copy of that Masterpiece.I recently bought this game but as yet havent played it.
