Thanks for getting me into Furls. They have the best customer service i have ever experienced. 10/10 I just bought my first Furls hooks less than a month ago, and one snapped mid-project, their team we so helpful and responded quickly. I think I am a forever fan.

I've been familiar with Furls for quite some time, but never did care for the large hook handle sizes. I decided to check out their yarn, though, and just purchased two of their Wander Palette yarn sets to make a baby blanket for my 4th due in February. 💕 Came with 2 free totes! Can't wait for my first order from them to arrive.

I unravel and try again w every kind of yarn, I guess wool tends to pick up more fluff from itself so if you're using different colours it can get a bit muddled looking. But yeah, I've completely unravelled, relaxed, and re-balled a mercized cotton project and it wasn't a problem (just time consuming o_O). I tend to go more for natural fibres for things I'm gonna wash bc I don't want to add to the microplastics in the water cycle (ik I'm one person and have basically no effect, it's just something that particularly bothers me)

You always make me want to shop Furls but it’s USD which costs sooo much in Canadian $ plus the shipping ugh but I’m falling in love with them.

I often buy just one skein to see what a yarn is like before ordering more later. But often the yarn is discontinued before I actually do so.: I need tons of one-skein projects at different weights! I think if I bought Furls I would buy a wooden one. I'm far too clumsy to own a resin hook, and I don't like heavy hooks like I hear the Odyssey is.

You should try the Wool Jeanie. It's great for pulling from the outside of a skein. I love mine. tlyarn does a review.

DK stands for 'double knit', and it's often also called size 3 yarn. It's basically a size below medium, kinda thin but not super thin
