Yea this shit is like asking for your location and can only connect to 2.4Ghz, shit can go to hell.

It is fairly heavy about 3 or 4 times hevier than the LED bulb I replaced.

have you found a solution? In the app it says i didnt connect to the Wifi no matter how often i retry even tho i´m connected to it.

​ @Mario Medina ​ @xbombshell well, its been a while and i tried a few things but dont exactly know what the final solution was but i`ll try to give my best advice. First be connected to your 2,4 Ghz Wifi Network with your Phone, this is the same Network wich will later be connected to your smart bulb (smart devices mostly dont work with 5Ghz Networks so make sure to check that you have a 2,4Ghz available). Also download the Meross App to your phone and sign in or up to your account and let it use your location, after the installation you can switch it off again. I`m using Amazon Alexa to voice control the bulb so make sure to also have the skill "Meross" installed with the alexa App if you´re also using Alexa. The next step would be to go into the Meross App on your phone and under the tab "home" click the plus sign to add a device, then "Smart Bulb". Click next if the Lamp is turned on already, if not make sure it emits light. Turn the lamp off, then on 5 times in a row, after the fifth time wait a second and it should begin to blink like 3 times in a warm white and cold white tone, click next if it does. I got the non-homekit version so i clicked on that. The bulb should emit a Wifi signal now wich the phone screen should also tell you at this point, click "go to Wifi settings" and connect your device with the Meross Wifi, it will be something like "Meross_LB_blablabla". If everything works so far your phone will directly connect to the new Bulb Wifi when clicked on it and when on Iphone, there should be a message at the dropdown saying youre ready to go now (if it doesnt show the message, make sure that in your notification setting on your phone you let Meross send you Notifications) , i remember it not showing up so i had to go back manually and try it a thousand times, i hope you´re not having the same issue, if yes, make sure everything said before is still the case, 2,4 Ghz wifi connection is there, you´re signed in to your meross account on your app etc. If a message shows up or you go in the App and its ready to connect to a 2,4 Ghz Wifi network you´re ready to go, then you simply have to go in the Meross Apps "account" Tab and click on the integration for your smart control device wich, again, for me is Alexa and follow the instructions on the screen. When going to Alexa etc. there should now be the newly installed bulb in the devices list and you´re ready to program it to your needs. I hope this helped, there are many things to look after that can make it not work like you want to so make sure every step and advice is followed.
