@ebeshaj7038 It was cheaper than my Galaxy S21 Ultra with 500+ gigs. They gave me $900 for it and I just have to pay $900 for the Pixel Fold over 36 months. I'm not exactly hurting for money; I'm 39 years old, retired from the military, and have a new profession. Between my military benefits and my new job, I bring in over $180,000 a year and my house plus all three cars are paid off. Could have bought it straight up without a problem, but my wife and 3 kids wanted to upgrade too so I wasn't about to drop that kinda cash for 5 phones.

THIS is a huge jump in battery tech and foldable form factor bc now it’s basically the same as a slab phone. Only 9.9mm shut and insanely dense but thin batteries allows for more components to fit with large capacity battery. Game changing tech in this phone

Man I must tell you, Honor is leaps & bounds ahead of any other competition out there. Used their device earlier for 3 years. Their night mode, battery management, quick charge, key & shake shortcuts are far better than anything out there.

@@stefankostic7660 Honor phones releasing in China are banned from using GMS. I guess the phone unbox therapy received has pre-release Global Software to build up hype before releasing it globally in IFA in September

@@rashedali7618 not quite- honor was owned by huawei, but after the ban they separated. for this reason, the global versions of honor phones still has google services! (source- just bought a brand new honor and it shipped with google)

Don't read too much into that. It could very well be that this is a global version, but installing Google services on China versions of Honor devices isn't as hard as it sounds.

The Honor 8 was my first premium smartphone and Honor was MY brand. But ever since Huawei was band, I had to let go 😔. Would have been really neat to have seen what else honor could have brought to the US. It’s really cool what they have here.

I'd bet that bigger battery is either because there are 2x 2500mah bbehind each screen running in paralell. OR there is 1 big one behind 1 screen, with all the smartstuff behind the other.

It’s horrible in the United States we get 2 options, Samsung or IPhone and what ever competition they don’t fear. Huwaei was about to take the #2 spot in the United States. Apple and Samsung lobbied and for Huawei banned in the United States.

@@oraclebjj Apple and Samsung sell phones in China. They’re just not the only options. There are many and much better options in Asia and Europe it we get these 2 in the United States. If we had Honor aka Huawei, Xaiomi, Vivvo and others there would be a great balance of smart phones to sell in the US market. Our government tells us about the dangers of China getting access to our information. Apple and Google track everything I do and say. I can have a conversation with my wife and what ever ai am talking about will pop up on KZfaq, Facebook or some other app. I am sure you have noticed this also. What’s the difference with a Chinese phone? Let me decide what’s best for me. So this is why I buy Chinese phone on eBay. The best folding phone on the market today is the Honor Magic V2. I had to spend $1400 to get it and I love it.
