I have been lucky enough to have driven one for a few hours and my brother and I drove it on a small curving road at twice the speed that recommended for the road and the Taycan was not even struggling to stay on the road.

It all about the boot/trunks aperture, that looks very impressive! I use to own a Volvo V40 back in the day, the cargo space was fine but it had a really small trunk door I couldn’t transport a wash machine I just couldn’t get it through the door. Porsche seems to have done a brilliant job.

@@kovacsfilip4513Why did Porsche bother building an suv then? They built an SUV to have some sort of practical every day use. Even more bizarre, Rolls Royce rolls Cullinan and Bentley’s Bentaga. Lamborghini and Aston are at it to. The point I should have made was that my wife’s Peugeot 205 hatch back had half the cargo space but was a far better car to carry awkward loads when ever needed. Just because it had a large boot/trunk aperture. It doesn’t have to be a washing machine. But I understand the point you are trying to make.

It looks way better than the "sedan" Taycan. When I saw the Cross Turismo I wanted Porsche to release car that looks like this one, without those plastic wheel arches like the Cross have. I also love the optional feature of the glass roof. There is feature where the whole roof or certain panels can go matte or transparent with a click of a button :D.

This types of cars are amazing if you can afford a new one. A second hand one will have lot's and lot's of problems that come with the new technology. We experience it all the time in Germany with friends/people that buy them 3/4 years old and the cars stay more in a repair shop than in their own garages. Keep up the good work! 👍

Never close a frunk (or a hood) like that. You can damage it by pushing it that way, always let it go from on foot high.

We have had this for a little while now at home and we are very happy with the car. We have found out that this is the only car you need. It is a "family car" while also beeing faster than most sports cars.

2:03 On a Porsche always push the hood down in the middle. People managed to bend their hood on older models. I dont think this is still an issue but just press on the Porsche logo to close it and you are fine. It kind of became a "Porsche thing" and shows you know your stuff :)

13:57 I actually like that feature. Yes, it's faster to touch each vent, but you can't visualize the trajectories of cooling or heating for every vent, so placing them all at individual angles in the way you want is much more customizable holistically.

Physical vents are completely over exaggerated and auto makers will continue to remove them. My car, I never adjust the vents. My HVAC is set to auto and the vent directions are set to my driver profile. When my wife gets in her driving profile automatically adjusts everything to her settings. I pre cool or pre heat my car before getting in so the car temp is nice. Do you adjust the AC vents in your house….

Technically its style is a wagon (four doors) vs a Shooting Brake (2 doors). Though it has an incredibly slick Shooting Brake profile.

I love this car as well. Btw, Porsches regen strategy is actually more efficient than 1 pedal driving. But it woukd be nice to have that option for driving in the city. Devils advocate : the bmw i4 m50 is just as fast and has similar cargo and interior space despite being a smaller car. Good build quality too. About 50k less as well. Yes it’s kind of ugly

the sport turismo has been out for almost 2 years. I think it way better than the standard taycan & which they would push more of these out. For every 10-15 taycans i saw, i saw 1 sport turismo

When closing the hood or bonnet of a Porsche you never press down on the metal/paint of the hood. You should always only push down on the emblem only.
