Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. I KNOW RIGHT! I literally cried playing this game. Tears of sadness, joy, frustration... All combined together... This series had me so emotionally attached to these characters it’s amazing. In my perfect world, this masterpiece got GOTY.

I also love how in the moment of the trailer when Nathan is using the words that people describe him "two-bit thief", "risking it all for treasure", it looks like he's reaching for the coin while everything falls around him but as he says "that's not who I am", it shows him reaching for Sam instead and letting the coin fall rather than his big brother. Nice way of visually cementing Nathan Drake's words!

I love how it begins with he seemingly reaching for the gold coin, saying that this is how people will remember him. Then it ends with him reaching out for his brother. It's very heartfelt and beautiful trailer, and this is exactly how you can teach us about the character without having to state the obvious.

Yeah, I love how it makes you think he's reaching for the coin when he's talking about how people will remember him as a thief who'd risk it all for treasure, and then when he says that's not who he is, it shows that he was actually reaching for Sam. Guilherme Filho I really liked to play Halo 2 & 3 on XBox but I moved to PS. XBOX changed a lot since then and the gaming industry too. I think there is a huge break in it ( e.g. the graphics in some cases looks like 6 years old almost on every platform). I dont really feel that i this case. This serie means a lot to me. This is the only game I have replayed all the episodes of it. ( for me the order of the episodes from the best: 2, 4, 3, 1). I havent got to much time for it but it worth.

Could we just talk about how amazing this trailer is How it starts with Nathan throwing himself at the coin which makes us believe he’s getting the coin put as the shot pans around you see that he is actually risking his life for his brother. People know him as the thief who would risk his life for the treasure but in reality he cares not about the treasure but his friends and loved ones. “I guess that’s how they know me....how’ll there remember me....but thats not who i am”

So true... they tried to make him an "everyman" that guy that could be you or me...but lets face it... the man comes so close to death in nearly every game, and still comes out on top. With a smirk and a wisecrack, and the need to push on to the end. to be honest, if we actually had more people like this in rl, life would be good. Nathan Drake, Badass. Barack Osama That hardly makes it " The most beautifully symbolic trailer " does it? That's barely even symbolism. "the use of symbols to represent ideas or qualities." In fact. That isn't symbolism. It's just standard storytelling. I think people need to face the fact this trailer isn't even close to being as good as they're hyping it.

I love how when he says "a two bit thief risking igpt all for a pieceoftreasure" the visuals show him trying to catch a gold coin but when he says "but that's not who I am" the visuals show him trying to save Sam instead of the coin. This game is just something else, just like this trailer.

It's that inflection that sells this trailer. The music is 100% on point but that 'But that's not who I am.' is really what brings it home.

Ladies and gentlemen, these are not 'games' any more. Games are masterfully created art forms, more about getting across messages, and developing heartfelt relationships with our favorite characters. It's annoying for people to say things like 'its just a game'. These are more than a movie most likely can be. If people can cry after movies, you have even more reason to be so in games as you develop such a more personal connection. I've felt that ever since Farcry 3, and has been the same any since. They're such emotional journies. Uncharted 4, red dead redemption, witcher 3, farcry 3. You will always be remembered in my heart.

Nathan Drake, you have and always will be my favourite character from my favourite game series ever. You will be remembered, a two bit thief, risking it all for some piece of treasure. But that isn't who you are. Nathan Drake, the hero of an enchanting game series, that has drawn me in and made it the best thing I have ever played. A protagonist who has made friends and rid his enemies, a brave and skilled man, who yes created but so very real, pulling me into my PlayStation every step of the way. This how I know you, and how I will remember you. That is who you are. I will never forget you.

xNESICS I don't know. I mean I d sure love to see Cassie in her own video game but I think Naughty Dog is kinda busy with The Last of Us 2 right now. I believe after that they're gonna introduce a new title. But even if they make a game with Cassie it's not gonna be released in less than 5 years.

I don't care what people say Nathan will always be a hero remember in U2 when Jeff got shot and Chloe tried to leave him behind Nathan tried to save him. Also in U3 when near the ending of the game when Nathan, Talbot, and Marlowe fell in the quicksand even though Marlowe was Nathan's enemy he tried to pull her out. No matter what he will always be a hero in my eyes.

@@thomas-ms8gz I know right? Nathan in gameplay and Nathan in cutscenes are two completely different people. In cutscenes he's ready to help anyone - even his enemies, but in gameplay he'll slaughter dozens of people without hesitation and then make a quick joke. It's so weird.
