God this ending made me tear up. I never do for video games. I'm gonna miss Nathan Drake, Elena, Sully, Chloe, Cutter. There wont be another game like these....

Hands down the best game I have ever played. Uncharted is a brilliant example of how games should be made and what a good story is. This game was the most amazing experience, it was like watching one big movie, and when I first picked up my controller, it was almost impossible to put it back down to have breaks haha :D Thanks Naughty Dog for this wonderful adventure!

This game literally had the perfect ending. I watched the credits begin rolling with the most satisfied smile on my face. If any more adventures had come along, I was content knowing Nathan Drake found what he was looking for in life and wouldn't be a part of it.

That closing shot and the theme song, oof, as someone who bought all of these day one that really gets me. I will really miss this series.

I think what makes the story of this game even better is that there are no supernatural creatures like the other 3 games.

I cried when the credits rolled, not because it was sad but because it was the end of seeing these characters I've loved since 2007

I tought that the ending will be dramatic ( Sam's or Sully's death) but they all stayed alive with is also really good. I just hope that this is the last uncharted game and sony will not touch it once again because of money. A good franchise must end at the good note.

Know what would've been cool? If during the final fight we actually transition to Avery fighting Tew and at the very end we switch back to Nate vs Rafe. Like it's history repeating itself.

I feel if Naughty Dog were to make another 'Uncharted' game, it'll be a spin-off about Sully and his past adventures. The games will be called "Charted" and there will be 4 games: Charted: Sullivan's Fortune, Charted 2: Among - Goddamn - Thieves, Charted 3: Sullivan's Deception, and Charted 4: I'm Getting to - Goddamn - Old For This.

It makes me sad that this will probably be the final Uncharted game.

This ending was a helluva rollercoaster. I was expecting Sam to go full villain in the final act. But he didn't. I thought Nate would abandon his brother. But he saved his ass. I thought they both would die when either ship or rocks come crashing upon them. But they survived. I was ready for final credits to roll right after Nate and Elena got all cuddly, but instead Naughty Dog gave me the ultimate thrill. A thrill to know that everything was fine. A true happy ending. Damn, it's 'The Last of Us' all over again. The feels man, the feels... P.S. Missed my Chloe though. Even a cameo, I'm not picky

By far the best story out of all of the Uncharted games!! Finished it in 2 long and enjoyable days and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Its sad to know that Naughty Dog wont be making another Uncharted game :/ makes me sort of upset and annoyed but anyways thank you Naughty Dog for this fantastic game!! :)

My little wife of 31 years got me all the Uncharted games for my PS4 in 2017. Played and finished the entire series. Wonderful fun. She passed away a little over a year later. One day maybe Ill go back to them to remember her with. God bless.

I cried my eyes out at the ending. The one thing i wanted was for this ending to end happy and it did just that and went even better than i expected. For most of the game i was fearing Sully, Elena or even Nate would die at the end. I remember near the end during the scenes Nate and Elena were having and how Nate said he was worried he'd lose her and stuff, i panicked thinking that she was going to die. But i was so happy that nothing like that happened. Hell even Sam didn't die when it looked like he was going to at the end. This was truly the perfect game. I am deeply heartbroken there won't be another with these characters but i'm happy to know that their story ended on a high

One thing that repeatedly bugs me is when franchises have cheesy, cliche endings. This franchise is an obvious exception. Naughty Dog gave Uncharted the ending it deserved.

In case people didn't notice you can have a conversation with Sully when going to Avery's tower about Nate getting a dog when this is all over and naming it after Sully (Victor). I guess they got a female dog and therefore named it Vicky instead of Victor.

This game's ending cured my depression, it's just a clever and beautiful way to end Nathan Drake's story. Uncharted will definitely be a series that stays in my heart

In my opinion story wise, uncharted 4 beats the last of us pt 2, graphics, last of us, gameplay last of us, but I feel like uncharted was an overall better game

The fact that a different gaming studio was able to launch an amazing prequel for just a handheld device( Golden Abyss ps vita) shows that Naughty dog can easily expand on Nathan’s story and start going more into his past

14:38 Does this mean something more? It's almost as if Sam is the player and Nate represents Naughty Dog. I know I could relate to Sam's emptiness at the end of Uncharted, even though it ended perfectly. Maybe Nate's reply is Naughty Dog's way of saying it has to end sometime, no matter how "thrilling" the next adventure may be. Either that, or English in school is polluting me.

So would Sully still be alive or dead by old age? He's probably a good 25 years ahead of Nate and Elena. Probably alive I'm guessing since Nate and Elena are probably 45-50 years old at the end. Sully probably in his 70s

I started playing the Uncharted games in April and I freaking loved them Uncharted 4 is my favorite out of all of them and I hope we get Uncharted 5

So what happens next? - She knows her fathers backstory - 2 years later goes listens to metal songs and dyed her hair black - after that when she's 18, she joins a group of adventurer friends at college - after she graduated, she ditches her family and name herself Lara Croft as her nickname - joins adventurer activities, she learns about survival and safety And that everyone, is how Tomb Raider started

This is the most satisfying ending to a game/series I have ever seen. I think it's because it truly is a happy ending and regardless of the cynicism that consumes our world on a daily basis, it plays into our yearning and hunger for an ending. The central theme of the game in general is 'legacy'. That's why this ending hits all the right notes. It makes you wonder what you will pass on to your kids.
