I'm surprised you didn't mention the part where Drake's real ancestor, Guybrush Threepwood, joins him in the final area as a wisecracking ghost. That was my favorite change. I especially liked how Murray the Talking Demonic Ghost Skull helped drake win in the final boss fight. I do think the final fight being changed to Insult Swordfighting was a little contrived though.

The ending makes scenes because in uncharted 3 there is some newspaper that talks about a deadly fungus going around.
