The look on elena's face when Nate got lost in the moment of explaining what happened 300 years ago of Avery and tew poisoned grand toast. You can definitely see the love she has for him.

+Mac Peluso I think her expression shows both of what you and OP said, but most of all she empathizes here that adventuring is Nate's real passion, and that nothing that she and Nate tries to do will change his yearning towards it - which explains her later decision to buy Jameson Marine without consulting him. She knows that keeping him behind a desk is like putting him on a leash.

@Asurastrike them breaking up doesn't negate their chemistry. they broke up becasue Nate needed to grow up and work out his commitment issues, and both of them needed to figure out how to make their relationship work with their personal aspirations - not because they had no chemistry. its actualy probably one of the most realistic portrayals of a relationship in video games, and heck most other fiction media. they love each other. but love is not enough and it takes them almost a decade to figure out the rest of it. but they do figure it out, becasue while love is not enough on its own, its a hell of a motivator.

nah, you have no idea how relationship works. The fact that they broke up so many times was because they had BAD chemistry. A good couple should have complementing personalities, but Elena and Drake have very similar personalities. As her creator Amy H. put "Elena is the female version of drake". She is a copy. She's too alpha much like Nathan. Remember a harmonic household cannot allow 2 alphas.In chinese, it's called yin yang. When you put 2 yin or 2 yang together, they are bound to break up because they repel each other. Elena and Nathan may look cute together, but people like them always run into conflicts in real life.

FireRose77 you know that reminds me of a really good couple,,, monica and chandler from friends. Monica is like fire and Chandler is like water. They complement each other perfectly. Monica is very competitive and chandler doesn't care. He pretends he's bad at pingpong so he wouldn't complete with monica. Imagine if Chandler had the same competitive personality, they would run into a lot of conflicts.

Asurastrike umm... have you actualy been in a long term stable relationship? because I'm in one now and have been for quite some time. I think I have a pretty decent idea of how relationship works. especially a relationship between two equally strong willed people. 1. chemistry is how well you bounce off each other, the rapport, the almost tangible connection that comes through in body language - Nate and Elena had it from the moment they met. 2. functioning relationships come in variety of flavors, but they are rarely perfect or just work out without any snags. Elena and Nate do not repel each other - its quite the opposite. they keep gravitating to each other. contrary to popular belief strong willed people do often prefer someone who can actualy stand up to them. which brings me to my next point. 3. the crap about to alphas is just that - crap. complementing each other is not one being submissive to another and that's the only way. complimenting each other is when together you are better than on your own. and once again - Elena and Nate have that - even when they have issues they need to work out, they almost immediately fall into complimentary partnership. what Nate doesn't figure out, Elena does, when he flounders - she gives him strength and reasons to keep going and the other way around. they are partners. their issues happen whenever they forget about it. well.. mostly Nate forgets about it. but they are at their best when they are equal partners and its why they keep coming back to each other. being equals is not easy. but its worth it. 4. Elena is not a copy. she is a mirror in a way, but not a copy, she is the better part of Drake, the steadier part and as a consequence - someone who brings out the best in him. you know who is too much alike with Drake? Chloe. they had great chemistry too, but they were too much alike on all the bad ways, and that is why it didn't work yeah, 5. Monica and Chandler IMO were a decent enough couple. the fact that Chandler just caved into whatever Monica wanted whether he himself wanted to or not, didn't make them a good couple. its what caused just about every argument they had. which they had to work through, what was their saving grace is that Monica didn't really want him to cave, so they would work out a compromises. coincidentally, just like "gasp" Nate and Elena had to work through their issues before they could make it work.

28:20 till the end of the cutscene is one of my favorite moments from any game. He’s explaining this whole thing to her and (in my eyes) she seems to be reminded of why she loves him. He’s so charming and passionate about this and when she says “it’s incredible” you can tell she’s disappointed with what’s happened to their relationship and he notices that, and apologizes. For once there’s no excuse or witty banter than Nathan always seems to have ready. Just a heartfelt apology. And the way that she says “it’s okay” is also so heartfelt and you know she’s not just brushing off his apology, but really reassuring him that it is okay.

Well for me.. The moment nate said "and they all perished.." you can see her gaze change.. She realize that if nate keep continuing in looking for a treasure, he can be like them.. And nate realize her gaze that he could leave elena alone that's why he said sorry because elena always worry about nate well being.. She not only angry because nate lying to her but she also worried that nate could be dead somewhere else and she know nothing about it..

That whole scene is just so incredible. I mean Elena (Emily/graphics artist/whoever) is just incredible. Her sensuous appeal, sexy voice, expressive eyes and face and her fragile yet strong beauty and personality just shines through so much. I mean she is the perfect woman imo.

The chemistry between these two is just unreal, I've never found a relationship in a game to be so convincing. Relationship goals for sure, ya know' minus the shooting and stuff... Just to add to that - best ending they could have possibly done. Perfect way to end it.

well he rarely had the time for it. when he was a kid he and sam we're thieves and if they weren't waiting for the other in juvi then they'd both be in it. in his adult life he spent all his time finding clues and studying history. the part where he got with Elena was probably the first time he settled down without doing anything else

Just goes to show nothing can keep Nate and Elena apart, even one final dangerous adventure. At least their daughter Cassie Drake could carry on the Uncharted series after all she is just like Nate and Elena in every way. Couldn't ask for a better ending to an amazing set of games, thanks for the memories Naughty dog.

+Duck360Gaming2 well... out of trouble yeah, but she also realizes how much she loves adventure in this one. that's why they never stop hunting for treasure, they just go legit, avoiding being shot at. I loved her in every uncharted, but in this one.. my favorite part is probably when she tells Sully that they just need to rescue the other Drake. no matter how upset she is with Nate.. she loves him so much that its not even a question that they will go and rescue the person that drove such a wedge into their marriage.. becasue Nate loves him. and well, becasue its the right thing to do.

Please tell me I wasn't the only one who said "What were you thinking, Nate?!" when Elena told him that she almost considered not to come and help him. Really, while they did reconcile and continue on with their marriage to each other at the end, her finding out his deception and chewing him out on both that and never telling her that he has a brother was so hard for me to watch the three times I played through the game in different difficulties that I had to pause the cutscene in the hardest difficulty for minutes to gain confidence to watch it.

He watched his brother be gunned down in front of him. He saw the life in Sam’s eye go away as he fell 20 feet or so. Of course he didn’t tell anyone. He didn’t want to relive the moment or talk about him. Nate feels responsible for his brother’s death because if he pulled Sam up quicker, none of that would’ve happened. You can blame Nate on a lot but not telling anyone about his brother isn’t one of them. He was as close to his brother as he was to Sully. Maybe more and he saw Sam die in front of him. That’s not something many people talk about, let alone someone who likes to keep to themself quite a bit

Emotion is what makes Uncharted Uncharted. What I loved about UC 4 is that it really harkens back to Uncharted 1 only it's so much more complicated. There are so many stories going on at once. Even the behind the scenes storylines with the brothers inadvertently playing out the Jesus and St. Dismus saga and the overall pirate quest storyline. Long story short, Uncharted 4 is Uncharted in it's rawest form but amplified 100 times.

That Moment when Elena waits for Nathan at the Motel. That Look in his eyes. I felt so guilty because I got him there :D Naughty DOg did an amazing Job with all the charakters and feelings and stuff. I loved Uncharted and I will miss Nathan :(

28:40 the look on Elena’s face as Nate is talking about everything says it all. Finding treasure isn’t the only thing that appeals to Nate about this life. It’s also the incredible feeling of being the one to discover such groundbreaking history . Standing at a table where some of histories greatest pirates all died together, and they were the ones to discover it. A feeling like that truly is, as Elena said, incredible.

I love the first 3 games, but the jump in terms writing and story and character development from the first 3 games to this game is MASSIVE. You can tell the influence The Last of Us had on it

Someone was saying the pacing and tone of Uncharted 4 has ND trusting us far more than the first three games. Now don't get me wrong, you still gun down massive numbers of enemies but still. TLOU1 really let you breathe in that atmosphere too. If everything is just constant action sequences, that can overdo it at times. It's better to contrast and feel.

I feel like Naughty Dog needs to make a game, not really a sequel, but just like a spin off with a new franchise revolving around the adventure of Sam and Sullivan. So we might just get glimpses of Nate and Elena during Sam and Sullivan's visit to their home (Nate and Elena). Take note, the story will only focus on Sam and Sullivan. What do you guys think? I hope for this to happen, but I'm not really going to force it on the devs. Just wanted to know what are your opinions on this. Thanks.

Damn these two make me soooooo jealous! They have such beautiful chemistry that I rarely see between characters. And the epilogue was a masterpiece, really. Sad that this series came to an end. Nathan Drake is such a sweetheart, and I'll shamelessly admit that I have a huge crush on him. Elena is perfect for him, and I hope they grow old together holding hands sitting on a porch on some wooden beach house watching the sunset and smiling at each other while reminiscing the good old days. And I'd like to do that too with my future partner. :-)

I discover this game for my Mom playing and in the first moment I think was a movie no a game; and when I see was a game I really feel the graphics are magnificent and the music and history are amazing. Never play this game because I really enjoyed watching like a movie, is a great game
