Looks like a real comfortable grip - between that and a sharpfinger - great snags for any1 into knives - Def awesome camp knife💥👊

Yes, it's comfortable in hand. Fits right in the middle of a small skinner and a more durable do all camping knife in the UH lineup.

Staglon scales on the new models look a helluva lot better than the previous generations .I’m going to pick up the new US made Sharpfinger for Christmas.

Nice hunting / camping knife for someone just starting out , maybe a young son or daughter where " good enough " is good enough for now . There is a definite place / need for budget knives ( especially fixed blades , that in general seem to see less use out of season ). As my old man used to say " when you need better , you'll buy better " Great review . Peace , Be Free .

Yes, it typically becomes obvious when you're in need of an upgrade. This one will do nicely until the rough stuff is required.

My first hunting knife was an Uncle Henry 227UH purchased around 1983. Even back then I was impressed at the quality of the sheath. ...nice heavy leather and several notches above what they offer now. This is a nice knife that should motivate buyers to make their own sheath.

Hey Tk,question-I’m getting into the (old timer)Sharpfinger’s-is this one large than a Sharpfinger? Or the same overall size- thanks brother

This knife is larger than the Sharpfinger. 8.25" for this vs. 7.1" for the Sharpfinger.

The only reason you really need to baton with a knife is if you're desperate or you're learning batoning as a skill incase you get desperate. Wooden wedges are one of the simplest things to make and a wooden mallet even simpler. You could easily make both with this knife, split your log with the wedges, strop the blade on your leather belt and still process a deer. Your knife is fine for what it is, a knife.
