I am deeply thankful for the influence John Mayer has had on me. This song is a tribute to him.
*Update* I met him! He played a show in Phoenix, AZ and my wife and I were fortunate enough to meet him before he went on stage. His flight into town had been delayed, and our time was very limited, but I did get the chance to express my gratitude and tell him about this song. He was very kind to us!
