Oddly enough, the best drive thru coffee here in BC is Micky D's, followed by Timmies Dark Roast, not their regular blend, that's literally warmed up liquid crap, but their Dark Roast....(for all you foreign uncivilized heathens, yes I'm looking at you 'Murica, Micky's is McDonald's of course and Timmies could only be Tim Hortons)

Uncle Roger, quinoa is from my country, Peru, and it's best served as a homestyle thick soup, not tossed raw in salad like people have popularized it. It is very delicious with farmer's cheese. Someday Uncle Roger will know! 🤗 Sadly, recipe is lost with Grandmother in heaven but, will someday rediscover this!

Having worked in a coffee shop I can tell you that customers calling to ask if they can reserve is incredibly common. Sometimes it was "can you reserve the good tables in the corner for us we will be there in half an hour" but most of the time it was someone trying to skip the line. At rush hour they would call and say "hi can I order a ton of coffee and pick it up in ten minutes" like....no you can't there is a line and you know that otherwise you would not have called.

I prefer no Wi-Fi in coffee ☕ shop.... I see lot's of ppl go there for free wifi , open there laptop and book sit there for hour and not letting other costumer to sit down. I too love coffee and when I go I prefer to have conversations with friends then be bg in mobile.

Omg, I used to be a barista back when everything was done manually, the espresso machine I worked on was from a family owned company in Italy that had been making machines by hand for over 50-years and it was beautiful. The espresso quality was amazing.
