Uncle Si recalls the moment in his life where he felt he’d hit rock bottom and how that led him to Christ. Godwin returns from a men’s retreat where he didn’t have a phone or watch, but surprisingly it really helped him stay grounded and see what’s in front of him. Phillip and Si get misty-eyed thinking back to Phillip’s daughter praying over them during a severe illness. John David gets serious with some emails from fans suffering from depression.

Hi guys I also had a drinking problem! Until I got bad enough, that I was hospitalized for 2 1/2 months ! My girlfriend prayed for me to quit drinking and I did, it wasn’t even hard for me cause I asked Jesus Christ to help me quit, and until this day I think God sent her to me, me to her! We were together for roughly 8 years until she passed away last December, everyone thought I was going to start back drinking, even my liver transplant Dr thought I was going to go back, but I’m here to tell you I never thought about it! So even though I’ve been grieving 9 months and a couple weeks now! I’ve gotten closer to Jesus Christ! Well I thought I would share this with you guys! Thats awesome brother! Keep on goin. I have to feel your wife would b proud of you. I was also in a crazy point in life when the lord introduced me to my wife now of 13 years. Ive always dealt with mental illness. I was on the road to making a lot of bad decisions with a lot of bad people, jus wasting life away. She had jus lost a baby, goin thru alot of depression and we were brought together by god together by God to help heal each other. Now we have 2 kids and love each other even more than we ever did. No one could ever convince me that all that wasn't by the grace of God. Talk about mysterious ways... all the things that led us together and timing was beyond perfect. Love is the most important thing. Something no one can live without.

Can you all say a prayer for some famlies in Barrow County Georgia? Yesterday a young man that was only 17 years old and two other people were killed in a car accident on Hwy. 316 It's so heart breaking. I have been praying for these families too. I couldn't imagine losing my son period....let alone at such a young age. Thank you for sharing your podcast. God bless you all.

This movie is gonna change lives! I get to a bad point and i cut on Phil and jus listen to his passion about the lord, the word, loving your neighbors, and anything that man has to say and its brought me out of some dark times and helped me get closer to God. Lord almighty is using these good men to deliver a message to that young man who is considering self deletion and even to anyone listening who might be in the same camp… That is such a touchy topic for me, not cause I’ve been there but know folks who have been and some who even carried it out………And they were WAY TOO YOUNG. LISTEN TO SI, PHIL, GODWIN, and JOHN DAVID PLEASE!!! These guys have such wisdom because they are committed to the one who created wisdom and created you.. and me… and every flower and every tree. Thank God we have breath in our lungs, tomorrow isn’t promised, but we should strive to make it greater than yesterday until his coming and he will come like a thief in the night according to the word of God, which is incorruptible truth. As far as a person kills themselves it hit our family hard. My half sisters son had a girlfriend didn't want anything to do with him, so he was took his back pack with him and his bike and he climbed a tree and hung himself in the window where she could see him. The family has a hard time believing that he would do this, he was very brilliant, played his guitar.Since he has has been gone, my sister hasn't been the same. We are a Christian family. So pray for all, please.

Me and my wife pray together every night as soon as our heads hit the pillow, we will take turns doing it but honestly just by doing that every night will make sure your not angry or frustrated before you sleep! Also as a bonus it’s with the woman you love and respect and care for! Keep Jesus in the middle of every relationship and most times you both win! I totally agree with you all about putting God back in schools. The school district we are in we play the national anthem before all sports start and the football team prays together before and after each game. I can't wait to go see The Blind Movie comes out on my husband's birthday.

In my case, i hit several Rock Bottoms before i was even baptized in 2018. Effort from me and the Holy Spirit within me helped me quit more than 1 addiction and I'm still working on a few more. It's constant work.

I've worked in the medical field. Not in the er but the medical surgical field on the hospital floor of people recovering. Those that I had the pleasure of speaking with that survived their attempt to take their life all told me they regretted it as soon as they pulled the trigger. If this was the case. All told me they had a split second for regret. And...well this opened the door to tell them the story of Jesus. I never got to talk to them again after they were released. I would pray with them and most had never heard the story of Jesus. I wanted to know if anything I said from Jesus's story helped. But, this was back in the eighties and we didn't have the technology we have today to stay in touch with each other. Hope this helps someone. Jesus is the only way.❤

If you don't want to be bothered, tell people to call you on the home landline. You'll never hear from anyone.😂 I recall when people had cellphones for emergency only. We only gave our cell number to parents, spouses and our children. Everything went through the landline. Now, my doctor's office wants us to electronically reschedule and book appts via an app instead of calling. Which would require me to set up an online patient profile app. I don't want an online 'profile' with every doctors office, grocery store, bank, church, etc with personal info out there to be hacked by someone, nor need more passwords. Sometimes we only see doctors twice a year, why would I want an additional app on my phone & use more passwords? Who knows what data they collect. Some areas don't even have landline phones anymore.

I've held a theory for years now that the reason us Christians have a much easier time talking about death is because Jesus conquered death and with us being saved death has no hold on us. I came to this theory because i noticed non christians get super angry when anyone tries to talk about death but almost every christian i know has an attitude that borders on cavalier when it comes to that topic
