Hey ryukahr! If you never want to lose your recordings ever again (not even with a bluescreen) then try to adjust the recodring-format from MP4 to MKV. The only downside is that you have to click on 'File' -> 'Remux Recordings' after every recording and have to transcode the file.

That second level was amazingly well crafted, the secret ending requires you to pick up the items in a certain order to prevent a softlock thats incredible

The castle at night isn't underwater, it just allows you to swim with normal item physics. The airship is the opposite, with most items having their underwater physics while the player is normal and can even jump on fishbones, cheep cheeps, and bloopers. The only thing that acts differently in the night airship theme compared to the underwater is the spiny, which instead of curling into a ball, just acts like a green koopa troopa.

5:44 It's not a weird phenomena, It's intended. This theme changes marios physics to underwater, but everything else stays the same. If I recall correctly, there is also a night time theme which does the reverse:mario - normal, everything else - as if underwater. It's made so you can make an underwater level, but you want the objects to behave normally and visa versa

i felt like the dev exit on NOP was kind of obvious the upper path was obvious, you lucked it a bit hitting the first vine and then you sealed the deal with your expertise in knowing the jump arc was off and finding the other blocks

I really love this uncleared expert series. It's original content and it is always entertaining. ❤ Also, I would like to see a Blindfolded easy level again. You did it mariomaker 1 and have not revisited it since.

The reality is that creators should only be able to upload levels that they themselves are capable of clearing. That is the intended design. Dev exits are a means to try and circumvent that restriction... the issue being though that it's possible that the dev may have not just created a level he can't beat... but that may in fact be impossible (since it's important to test from start to finish... not just spot checking a specific area of difficulty). On the other hand there is often dev exit tells, and when someone finds the dev exit it also means that their "challenging" levels difficulty goes right out the door as people then are able to beat it in seconds with out much trouble. Usually there's a single feat to clear or secret to uncover. I guess the big issue here is that not being able to edit a other users level to find their dev exit like in the previous MM is the problem... since it becomes a guessing game when something seems impossible.

I quite like dev skips that require skill to reach. It really is fun to find and figure out, and isn't just laziness by the developer. It's also (when the skips are like a level in and of themselves) add a fun element to getting the WR

I've got an idea. How about doing a sort of endless mode for uncleared expert levels? Start at 30 lives (or something lower idk) and then have a counter on the screen u update at each death or when you get 1ups. Would be fun to watch.

Convoluted 'dev skips' were actually a thing in SMB3. Try using a P-Wing to fly over levels that you'd normally need to go through an "intro pipe" in. (Sometimes all you get are 1ups, but a lot of the time, you get to skip the whole thing. Like Pipe Land 1.)

What's going on in that level is that castle at night, you act like you're underwater, enemies and items act normal. Airship at night is enemies and items act like they're underwater, but you act normal.

It is either the beard or the voice and idk which one but, I want this dude to narrate my life.

Imagine uploading a difficult level and the first clear takes the dev exit by accident.

If it weren't for that really trolly part, that last level could have been a challenge level in a regular Mario game.

Could make it so that the player can view how the uploader beat their own level, maybe with a ‘ninji’ ghost. At the same time though, this could also make levels less surprising/difficult, especially puzzle/troll levels.
