The latter category is particularly devious, as they will lie about the evidence they have, so it's doubly important to ensure they can justify their claims with rationally demonstrated and objectively verifiable facts. Now, I know that anyone interested in and committed to frank and fearless interrogation of facts as Doug is, would never confidently assert something as true without making sure that he is neither influenced by his own preferences and prejudices or being missed.
