This stroke is not talked about as commonly in EMS education. This type of stroke can mimic other emergency and non-emergency conditions.
My goal with this video is for you to be able recognize this type of stroke and be able to evaluate fast for these signs and symptoms. By the end of the video, not only will you have a basic stroke assessment review but you will have a new understanding of what I call the "sneaky stroke."

Honestly anything that shows an acute onset of AMS/confusion, localized paresthesia/numbness/weakness, or anything remotely neurological to me is gonna be a Code Neuro for me, even if not specifically Code Stroke.

The patient might have none of those symptoms but have attention and memory problems after cerebellar stroke. This is very often missed but you'll find it wikipedia and I can confirm it from my own experience
