I haven't watched it all yet, but it says the kidnapper was an embittered and abused half brother of the kidnapped child who was adopted. As an adopted person who was abused by my adoptive parents and then searched for my birth parents who didn't care about me, I think those pro life people are weirdos, as they seem to enjoy trying to look good with banners, and caring more about fertilised eggs than living people. There should be more stories about what happens to people born into bad circumstances.

I guess, as an American, I am spoiled by police/procedure shows where the Mom's attempt (with the Dad) to sell this as a suicide wouldn't have worked. For starters, when the medical examiner couldn't find gunshot residue on " the kid's " hand the police would have been right around to the couple's home. It would have been smarter to set up a self defense story as the reason for the shooting. It wouldn't have made a difference that " the kid's " gun was empty, just the possibility that his gun was loaded made the Mom believe he would kill her or the child.

Got to 30 minutes couldn't watch any more. This film is such a turkey it could have been produced by Bernard Matthews, even in 2002/3, the time of filming & broadcast, Britain had more CCTV cameras than the rest of Europe put together. Why was nobody ever spotted. Sometimes the fish Robson Green pulls out of the sea are less wooden than him, they often have more character.

Reminds me children playcenter in Bromley. I was with my daughter there couple times, even had birthday party but always followed her, climbed and jumped with her etc. Although I do agree, those kind of children centers are way too big, better stick with smaller places, well supervised and follow children everywhere, same like in playgrounds.

Not to mention all the other stuff. Like the ludicrous stealing of the disk. No security cameras? Not reported to the police? The guards saw him, they would have known hi from him being all over the tv as the father of a missing child. Who was just taken from a secure building and no one noticed. Then losing the disk. There were 2 of them, why didn't one stay by the disk while the other looked for the kid? The police just disappear into the ether for most of it No one investigates the murder.Basically, take every rational thought or reaction and throw it out of the window, get the characters to act in ways no one with the IQ of an amoeba would, then you end up with this trash.
