Overall a good piece, but I dislike the way the announcer and layover text make it sound like Magic Grand Prix are an annual thing. They happen all over the world, and all the time throughout the year. Minor gripe, but worth noting for accuracy.

Nice video. For it being so short, it had a good storyline, and enough info for the average person to follow along. I liked, though, when the players started naming combos. Regular people were like, "WTH?" LoL

It's like any other community, there are good people and bad people. I've had way more positive experiences than negative experiences. 99% of the people i've interacted with are awesome people who are just there to have fun. I hope you have a great time!

It's crazy how the Magic players all realize that Vegas is a place for GPs like no other but comic-con can't figure it out. LSV is always dressed up when he does commentary. I didn't even recognize him at first. Everyone is right about Gaby being so cute 😍

I checked out Gaby Spartz's article ... for a moment I was afraid it was some more social justice culture war stuff ... but no. That was actually sound and sensible advice. She makes sense. Not being a magic player though (playing board wargames)... I haven't really seen a lot of rude, smelly, misogynistic guys out there. And I also doubt that's what's keeping girls away from hex-n-counter wargames.

don't even know the situation and bitch about it. Great. Calling a judge isn't an insult to the opponent. Calling a judge is to make sure everything is proceding properly. People in general need to grow a backbone and stop be offended by normal actions. Its a competition, making sure everybody understands the situation is always the best action.
