Well, I rather have a CEO who lies about her age than a CEO who has committed nine counts of wire fraud and two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for distributing blood tests with falsified results to consumers.

@@vaishramachandran7240 It's not about the age. That was the first lie that set off the alarm bells. Then came the fake Grace Hopper Foundation award. Then came the UN expert. Then came the London School of economics graduation. So now we have a series of lies. No crimes yet, but definitely dishonest.

It's not a competition about who is the worst liar. A liar is a liar. PERIOD! Her lie about her age is obviously highlighted because that's one that they caught her in that could easily be proven. So stop it with the nonsense, your bias is showing.

Especially if you are the CEO of a start up that is aiming to be public and to make billions. If i tell I'm an experienced manager, i studied at London school of economics, i worked abroad with UN as an expert and the fifty percent of all this is fake, the truth will smash me, sooner or later. In a liberal market economy, people like this should be punished.

The asian reporter seems more sincere in her approach to journalism. This white woman gives off a vibe like "I'm gonna take you down because I have low self-esteem and hate myself so my insecurity drives me to the point where if I get the chance, I'll turn on you in second." Ladies and gentleman, it's 2019, and there's still women bringing down other women instead of accepting this woman's apology and letting go.

Do another uncovering lies and a troubled workplace video on Forbes being a Republican but making all these pseudo left-wing videos to appeal to a much younger audience (that don't have daddy's trust fund) and Forbes magazine+channel talking about everybody else's drama but their own, specifically tax on the wealthy/upper class.

sidewaysintraffic and signupisannoying : You know that a resume is about your education and/or relevant work history, it can also have your hobbies and volunteerism; I think resumes are supposed to be honest yet as dressy as you can tailor could be some truth to that: WARNING A good resume may often be OVERLOOKED because some interviewers don't like to be outshone, who are put in positions of possibly hiring us. SO! I think very often HR Departments are the LIARS, HR Departments are the SCAM: Several honest ones have told me: Don't get too hopeful, 'cause we just need to keep our HIRING DIVISION OPEN. . All because she lied about her age and exaggerated a few schools on LinkedIn. Gimme a freaking break.... do you know how many profiles on Linked I see which are grossly exaggerated. I haven’t worked for single company where the CEO or upper management isn’t 100% transparent. This journalist needs to get a grip on reality. The women apologized and they wouldn’t let it go. Cleo applied to Forbes "Next Billion-Dollar Startups". Did they not look into how Forbes conducts their research and analysis of the companies that make it on to the list each year? A simple glance at any of the companies clearly states Founders ages, educational backgrounds and prior work experiences. If someone can so easily lie to a reporter about their age, it makes you wonder what else one might hide to boost their ego. Biz is not shaming Shannon on the premise of being a women, she would have done the same investigation for a male CEO. I feel that some of the negative reactions from this video really focus on just the age lie, but there are more important issues, documented in this video, to be discussed (e.g., lack of leadership, poor workplace culture, creating fake awards, etc.). Overall, I thought this piece was good and showcased ethically questionable acts.

That answer is simple: That is because of cultural differences: Strangely enough; it is actually English and American Old WORLD Culture that has taught ((women especially)) NEVER to reveal their ages!!!!!!! So that is why!!!!! We had been taught that it was in very bad form to EVER TELL your REAL AGE!!!! Also, I think the interviewer knows that; she's just hamming it up for us !!!
