I live in davao Oriental and I absolutely love this Region. The mountains here and we are not far from the beach... i live in the mountains as a German, we have 1ha Land and raising a farm here... i also want to share how beautiful this island is and promote also my Region here. My family from California visited Samal Island and stayed at the resort. It was very safe. Then we flew to Dakak Resort and stayed for another 3 days, it was very safe. We flew to Bohol via Davao afterwards and spent a total of 18 days in southern Philippines and it was very very safe...

Harry, thanks for showing Mindanao. I am a Yorkshire lad living in Cotabato City Maguindanao for the last 10 years. I ain’t had any problems at all here, even when it was really sketchy here. Its all about self attitude and awareness of what’s around you!!

Im a Yorkshire lad too, girlfriend is from lake sebu. I was in Mindanoa January /February the people are fantastic. I stayed in koronadal where she works for two weeks and im hoping to return july for T'nalak festival.

Petrol is a dollar per liter here in Philippines wayback 2016 its just 0.75 cents per liter.

The best way to eat durian is to freeze it, it will taste like perfume ice cream, this secret has been popular for more than 20 years, Harry, you can try it next time! Yesterday I watched Ben's video first, I am very happy that your styles are different, today I seem to have watched a complete story! With the US dollar, the Euro, and the British pound ranging from 50 to 60 plus times its value here in the Philippines, giving a tip or a snack every now and then will never be a burden and will be highly appreciated by the locals, especially if you liked the food or their services. Fabulous Harry how you bought all the staff at shell & 7 eleven the Harry & Cadbury chocolate bars. So you didn't liks Durian😂. 3-5 rush hour on the Durian😂. Love how you interact with the fisherman family at the house and the people all around and drinking the water from the pump. Timu the Banana man. 50 years old😂, such great fun at the market Harry potter. Great fun at the basket ball court. Love the england telephone box and Ronald McDonald and all the memorabilia in the middle of nowhere. I had to keep watching to see you finally find your accommodation.chin chin & joy joy😂. Omg $100 per night for that basic room & a spider😂.Fabulous travel experience Harry. Many thanks for sharing your journey.

I am a Filipino from Mindanao but not from Davao. I am so surprised to watch this video that there are Filipinos who could not speak and understand English these days 🫣🙊 oh My God! We live in the the western part of Mindanao, Zamboanga del Norte which i know speaks English more & are respectful people!! I’m watching this in NY 🇺🇸

@@norval.tvonyt I’m a Filipino & was just surprised that at this point in time there are still Filipinos that acted like those ones showed in the video. I’m not mocking them. Mind you Philippines second language is English among others! Don’t you know that?! Yeah, kindergarteners speaks English & are taught in English hence our newspapers, magazines & offices are in English generally. Our medium of instruction in schools is English! No mockery here. Just watch the video.
