Those SAYING that this is a boring series have to rethink what they are looking for a good story. this is as close as real life experience of a person undergoing depression. they are unstable, their emotions can sky rocket in a minute and then plunge downward in a blink of an eye. Wan's dream is her escape, the only place she's happy and be herself. She has an alcoholic mom who made out with Kim's mom, her dad ran away with Kim's Dad, and then there she is, in love with Kim. she's having issues and doubt. the novel is even slower than the series. it took 30 chapters for Kim and Wan to be intimate. Let's appreciate the masterpiece, people!

The series is not boring nor the story whoever the story telling was until EP 5, because at first it was rather confusing , however now that we understand Wan, now the story is more captivating, and interesting in my pov and obviously the story line is so different for other novels so yeah.

So true! People just want action instead of a well thought out slow burn story with interesting and amazing characters. Trust me, it will be a whole lot more worth the wait when Wan and Kim do actually get together because the build up is building up to something special between them.

I don't know why, but I appreciate the words Wan said... They are sad but sincere, they have no anger and he says what he feels! It's finally starting to make sense, the pieces are almost in place.

Wan is so direct with all of her feelings except what she feels for Kim. Totally understandable, i myself am that way when i love someone.

I have always felt for Wan because you could tell her anger came from a place that she wasn’t quite sure of herself. This part made me cry because I just felt for her so much. Loosing Kim on top of the issues with her mom was like the straw that broke the camels back. Everyone was thinking she was being selfish but she was actually trying to be strong for the one she loved but went about it only the best way she knew how. It blew my mind that Kim had no clue, as her “bestie” that she suffered from depression but the other girls knew. I’m glad Wan let Kim go so they both can see clearly and maybe come back to each other as friends or partners in the future. This part of the episode was the turning point for both of them it seems. Can’t wait to see how this pans out.

Same here mate, Fay is doing a superb job with Dawan, and the other girls too, I love them. Btw the other girls didn't know about Wan's depression just Toon knew, and they didn't know cause Dawan didn't want to, she wanna be strong for Kim and her friends so she chose to suffer alone, sadly😢

@@caramelcutie03 From my pov Mon and Mali reacted like this cause of the message that Dawan posted and because they know that sometimes she can take things to the extreme (let's not forget how she tried to suffocate Jessie XD). But what convinces me that they didn't know is Mon's reaction in the hospital, if she had known about her depression she would have made all that fuss sooner, I assure you, it's very dramatic🤣

The conversation between Hwan and Kim at the table was literally breaking me down. I remember feeling the same way when I was struggling with my own depression. So I know exactly how that feels when you don’t have the special people in your life anymore that you did everything for and who helped to keep you motivated and moving, even if they didn’t know they were your inspiration. It’s like it doesn’t really matter anymore, whatever you set out to do or have already accomplished in the end, if you can’t show them or share it with them it’s just all meaningless because inside of you nothing else can ever feel so empty.

Tập này rất nhẹ nhàng, nhưng không hiểu sao nước mắt lại tự rơi nữa, có lẽ vì tôi cũng giống Dawan, cũng từng trãi qua chứng trầm cảm đó, trầm cảm không chỉ đáng sợ khi người bệnh bị dồn nén đến tự tử đâu, mà nó rất kinh khủng khi ta gặp phải vấn đề gì đó khó khăn trong cuộc sống, dù là nhỏ thôi nhưng nó cũng như giọt nước tràn ly vậy, người trầm cảm bị tổn thương về tâm lý thì họ sẽ dùng nỗi đau của thể xác để lấp đi nỗi đau của tâm hồn, bằng cách là họ sẽ làm đau chính mình, dù là không chết ở thể xác, thì linh hồn của họ cũng đã héo úa rồi, sống cũng chỉ là tồn tại vì nghĩa vụ phải sống, chứ chẳng còn thiết tha bản thân phải sống để được hạnh phúc nữa, tôi cũng hiểu cho lý do Dawan không chịu thừa nhận yêu Kim, nó không hẳn là vì những tác nhân trong phim, mà vì cô ấy mắc chứng bệnh đó, nên cô ấy rất sợ, sợ khi hai người yêu nhau, Kim phải nhìn cảnh người yêu mình chịu dày vò từ căn bệnh đó, cô ấy sợ người mình yêu phải san sẻ thứ không tốt đó của mình, bản thân cô ấy còn không yêu chính mình, nên cô ấy nghĩ làm sao có thể yêu Kim tốt được, xem tập này thật sự rất thương Dawan 🥺.

I feel like the screen writers did it wrong by not conforming that wan had feelings for kim from the initial episodes itself. Thats the only reason the show felt frustrating till the last episode. Even if they were gonna reveal why wan didn't confess way back when they were kids and show us that kim also had feelings for wan in 6th episode they should've atleast let us know one of them of was yearning and pining all along. This episode finally clicks everything into place but as it is not a book we can't know the actual pov of the characters, that messed the show up and as an angst enjoyer I really really hope you guys handle slow burn better next time.

@@Anon-lx1tp exactly! like I would've understood if this show had romance as a subplot but no, they got nothing going on the whole time and there are a lots of plot holes. Personally I also think these companies should stop adapting GLs from that one singular author. Everyone wants to recreate GAP's success but are forgetting quality in the process.
