this is what happens with so many black men... the first thing they bring about is SEX as they approach a women..... oversexualize individuals.. nobody needs or wants that behavior.. it makes the culture promiscuous...

***** Just because a black man tells a woman how beautiful she is, doesn't mean that you want to LICKITYSPLIT with her brah. I say what I have to say and I keep it moving. Now, if she engages me and we hit it off in a mutual manner, I'll be just like any other man of any nationality. We're all men brah, that's what we do; unless you are married, then I'm going to keep it moving because I'm not getting caught up in some three way triangle brah.

+colombiawithanit a great video! But you should maybe explain how class works in Colombia. My wife is Colombian so I understand, but in other countries they don't understand the "class system". In Colombia class is sometimes associated with color.... Black men & woman will not be treated how you think, your perspective may be a little small towards the rest of the world. Like you said in the video; Your friends only date white (european) men. Ask you friends what they think of black american men
@jasonkaramo9711
@jasonkaramo9711 7 жыл бұрын
Bruh Feed They date white men mainly for economic reasons. The other reasons have to with the mental colonialization that has occured by white people toward the mixed natives and making anything white and euro popular. Whenever white supremecy is removed out of the equation a natural woman regardless of race chooses a black man as there is no comparison with a black man from any other race

People in Bogota, Cali, Barranquilla and most of the cities in Colomba, are very very racist, but usually it is a subtil racism. The best way to verify this is to see how people in those cities treat a white European person compared to how they treat a black person. The most racist city in Colombia is Cartagena. If people see that the black person has money, they treat him or treat her a little better. If they see that the white person is wealthy, they treat him or treat her in a magnificent way. All this is very sad.

I've always thought Latin women were beautiful and I love their culture being from the Caribbean but in my experience, even girls that I knew were attracted to me ended up with another Latino. I've been to many Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Guatemala and it seems that the majority think blacks are uneducated or criminals because of European colonialism. Even though my heart wants a Latina, I've found it easier to date my own race. Maybe I should have visited Colombia first lol.

Much of what this guy is saying is similar to what people will say about black people in America or in parts of Europe. Things like everyone is equal (when this isn't true), other races will not want to date blacks but are at the same time curious about black people sexually relationship wise , black people are good dancers -life and soul of the party. Same shit different country. He seems like one of those black guys that lovers women of other races they exist everywhere
@cebarvideos
@cebarvideos 8 жыл бұрын
Kiara R yep this guy even said something fairly obvious which is that blacks in Colombia have a different culture from other races but some people will deny this. I've even read something sbout white Colombians refusing to go to the carribbean costal areas because there are too many blacks and they don't want to get tanned. That woman in the video is also In denial on a comment response to someone else she said something about poverty and race not being interconnected in relation to black people as I said much of what was spoken about in the video is a mirror image of what people will say about blacks in other countries and sometimes the reality is very different
@kekelangston4363
@kekelangston4363 8 жыл бұрын
cebarvideos It's directly correlated. The paramilitia. The black colombian I know gets called a liar when people find out his career. They can't believe he went to college because he's black. Most of the blacks work very hard labor jobs or something that doesn't pay much. This guy is willfully blind. That's like saying America isn't racist.
@cebarvideos
@cebarvideos 8 жыл бұрын
Kiara R exactly most black Colombian just like black Americans can only really find major success in sports and music. Soccer/Football black Colombians are over represented similar to African Americans and basketball but as for your normal everyday jobs that would help build a community not so much
@cebarvideos
@cebarvideos 8 жыл бұрын
Reflex wtf when did I say anything about black people only being able to find jobs in sports and music ? If that had been the topic of conversation you would have a point but I wasn't talking about that . Having a black Family in the white house doesn't negate the reality that black people can only find jobs in sports of music if that was indeed the reality which it isn't btw Obama ain't black he's mixed
@cebarvideos
@cebarvideos 8 жыл бұрын
Reflex The perception that mixed people are black is straight up wrong and incorrect. Yes many mixed people do have much of the same experiences as black people but they also have many that are different. Many mixed people get treated better than blacks by the media and by some people in the black community as they are perceived as better/more attractive/prettier than actual black people for being half white.

As a black Latin myself, now living in the US I'd like to clarify. Relations between black Latinos and ordinary Latinos have come a long way from just 20 or 30 years ago, but there's still a lot of room for improvement. When I visited Colombia about 8 years ago I only saw 1 interracial couple during the week I was there(I was couple #2 with my then-girlfriend!!) To me, the best way to tell relations between one race and another is to observe how they interact, particularly marriage, live-together and children from these races. In Colombia, the vast majority of folks are either Latino or black. Most people along Colombia's coast are black! Most Colombians living inland are not! Draw your own conclusions! Funny how this guy calls latinas white...so what would he call white European women? super white?LOL!!! We've come a long way as I said previously...still a long way to go!!

Latino is not a race, any race can be Latino. "Latino" is used to identify a group of people from a specific location (Latin America) mainly central and South America, and who speak a Romance language. So yes, you will see many different races in Colombia, Colombia like Brazil are one of the most diverse countries in the world. Yes a lot are considered Caucasian, the average Colombian has 65% European blood, there are a lot of white Colombians, but there is more mestizo, but a lot of people place mestizo and whites together in to one group, that's why there are people who will say she is white and other that she is mestizo.

This is one the biggest problems with some of the black brothers in Latin America. I would say that Latinos in Latin America are not more racist than anywhere else in the world. I have been to Latin American countries like Nicaragua and Mexico, and I found that the people there regardless of race are overall warm and welcoming. However, it is misleading to talk like this brother is doing to give the wrong impression that racism towards blacks in Colombia or elsewhere in this part of the world doesn't exist, or that it can be dismissed as a dislike for people based on personality rather the race and cultural background of a person. I am black and live in the United States, but I had good times when I visited and stayed in Mexico and Nicaragua. However, I did see some examples of racism in those countries. Also, the black and Miskito people of eastern Nicaragua informed me of the racism and marginalization that their communities as minority groups have encountered in the history of their country. There is no part of the world where there is total absence of racism of some kind. Let's be honest about this.

I love watching your videos. I notice you talk about how black men are perceived in Colombia, but what about a woman like myself looking for a lighter skin/tan skin Colombian man? Would a woman like me have success finding a nice Colombian man in Medellin? I am half Jamaican and half Cuban and I love Latino men, especially Colombian men. They are so passionate, loving, affectionate, very respectful, I love their masculine ways and how they are the type that takes charge but not in a domineering way. I love this because they make me feel safe loved and wanted and needed and when they love a woman they love her unconditionally. I also love the fact that they are family oriented and love their family. I love the way they dance, I love their music (my favorite Colombian music artist right now is Maluma lol) and omg they smell so good. The list goes on. I lived in Nueva York and I have dated two Colombian men and I have to say it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely date and even marry a Colombian man.

Colombians also have a soft spot for the jamaicans and in Medellin there is a jamaican bar where they played reggae ad was crowded the whole time, also people whom likes the jamaican style of rasta remembering to Mr Bob Marley even thought it doesnt represent the personality of all jamaicans im sure they would love to approach to you and exchange cultures. The one thing that all black people here have in common (regardless of how light or dark they are) is that our ancestors were slaves from Africa and that makes us black here. I don't think I have caucaic features, for instance, my lips and my nose are on the bigger side like my African ancestors.

Sounds like a lovely place to visit. I like the positive outlook and picture these two are presenting. But, since I'm born and raised in the U.S. , It's safe to say, I've met my share of white people, and I'm friends with a few. I don't see the logic of going all the way to Columbia to focus on meeting more white people. That's defeats the purpose of travel; to experience other cultures and meet interesting people, that you otherwise , wouldn't come in contact with. Thumbs up on the the interview, overall, though.

I would say that for the 2 comments i saw from you dissing him and excluding him from his own culture, and for dissing the way that we Latin women like to be conquered which is something that any woman like, would think that you are the type of foreign man who like to treat foreign women like if they were nothing and that's something i know from my very own experience marrying an american black man with the same type of thinking you have (i will make clear that most of black men are not like this) but it was a nightmare to say the least, when a woman express how they like to be conquer and the other person is thinking that is too much to just be romantic, i think that something is wrong with yourself, cause in love most of time we give without hesitate and we don't measure the amount, is something pleasurable. So maybe you need to start watching or finding the way to conquer the heart of women from another culture if it doesn't fit your taste. Have a nice day!

So basically, all you need for a relationship in colombia is sex and dancing? Does ambition, education, values, (you know, the unimportant stuff). play any part? No wonder black men are flocking the country. Do they have engineers, doctors, lawyers, white collar workers over there? Probably from other countries.

Funny how all of us have different opinions regarding black people and the way we are viewed by other races, but most importantly, how we view ourselves...I. Am a black Latino male raised in Latin America and have my own views and opinions on black latins based on my own experiences and those of family members. Some people tend to post opinions based solely on personal beliefs/ views. You pick which ones to believe...

ARK P Come on bro! I was assuming that anyone who replied would know that I know that. OK...I know that there are black,white and native latinos.As far as I can see she would fall under the category of native latino unless she is assuming that here father is conquistador. By her father of course I mean her ancient(post 1492).I'm quite aware that many "Latinos' believe that their father is conquistador...Not true (Around 5%) are.The vast majority of "Latinos" are native thereby making them Israelites per their ancient father. Your turn bro.
@Shahmar
@Shahmar 7 жыл бұрын
The white Europeans who brought Castilian Spanish and their subsequent descendants are the only white "latinos". This woman is not white unless one of her male ancestors was a conquistador. Many "Latinos" believe that the conquistador is their father and this is only true for about 5% of them. The vast majority of "White" 'Latinos" look European, the medium brown and light skinned ones are not the offspring of Europeans; the Nation of Israel has light and dark skin because of their fathers , light skin and curly hair DID NOT come from Europeans.
