jstar is as mellow as they come. dude sends 15, power screams one time, clips chains, and just says "ok.". a quiet "yay" is as big of a celebration as we get. what a STUD

Ok, a couple of things: 1) That's one of the most beautiful routes I've ever seen. 2) Jonathan is a full blown master of the art. Period. He climbs like a surgeon. Unreal precision and attention to every detail in every body position. It is absolutely amazing to watch. Nobody climbs like him. Not a single wasted movement, not a single misplaced toe. I can't even fathom the stamina. Good Lord.

if you wanna see another absolutely gorgeous roof climb then i suggest that you watch the video of moritz welt's FA of star shopping (9a).

Was about to comment exactly this. Adam Ondra said somewhere that rock climbing is like vertical ballet sometimes. I guess this is what he meant..

Even my 30 metre routes take 5 minutes to send at most. To spend this amount of time on the rock, it must be insane to endure. Congrats.

JStar keeps it real. He continues to repeat and FA/bolt routes. I will note that Kinder again hit the edge of the envelope with this rig in the Skull cave. Another outstanding bolted FA, from the self sponsored Joe Kinder 👏 👍 👌

The mental fortitude to send routes like these is exhausting to think about let alone to actually physically execute. Superb! J. Siegrist is resting on holds I would probably fail to make moves on.

Props to Jonathan on one of the most beautiful ascents ive watched. Truly a master of the craft. If the person who filmed this video ever reads the comments I wanna know what camera you are using and your background. You did fantastic.

I was going to say like: Jesus Christ, how long is he going to climb this hard for? And then he found this beautiful knee bar. Also: This uncut format really is the best.

I bet Jonathan Siegrist doesn’t know that the dutch words for “steep” and “style” sound exactly the same, but after watching this, I’m sure it’s no coincidence …

Começar com a primeira costura batida não é cadena

na verdade a primeira não tava costurada 1:26
@marcosviniciusromanribas7373 Жыл бұрын

So these really hard climbs obviously involve tons of strength and power but Jesus these are longer than most sport routes and require most of all endurance
