So much work went into this build. All the cutting and sanding. You stayed true all the way, no cheating. Amazing. I love it. It looks like rustic cabin.

Nice Job.... I am in the process of converting an 8x16 v-nose cargo trailer into an RV and Mobile Sign Shop. I am just starting the walls and cabinet construction. I just sold a 15-passenger shuttle bus that I lived in for 3 years and traveled out west during the winters. I had to sell the shuttle bus because I purchased a large format color printer to make contour cut decals/stickers, koozies, t-shirts, magnetics, banners, mousepads, etc. The large format color printer would have taken up a lot of storage space so I needed to get something bigger. I did a complete conversion series on the shuttle bus from the ground up and now am doing a new series on the cargo trailer conversion. They are on my YT channel.

Awesome build!! There’s absolutely no freakin way you only spent $1,000 even if you had every bit of wood for free. All the electrical components and wiring and vent fan, sink, inverter, conduit, windows, heck I’ve spent a couple hundred just on screws with my build. So unless you are a carpenter/electrician that stole thousands of dollars of supplies from your job you’re gonna give poor saps like me the idea we too can do this on the cheap. 😅 for us non electrician/carpenter plumbers that can’t steal from our jobs that’s easily 3k plus the cost of the trailer itself. But definitely a gorgeous build!!

looks nice. I just stained and urethaned the plywood inside mine lol. Had a buddy who works as an electrician run the electrical though metal conduit, installed a plug boxes, switches, outside hookups and motion house light by the door.

can you break down what you used to insulate? What material was used in addition to the foam boards? Was it on both sides? Did you need to use any glue or just fit and tape on the seems? Im going to re-insulate my aluminum cargo trailer. the builder used Styrofoam and it doesnt stop the suns heat at all. Trailer is a hot box in the sun. even the walls are hot to the touch on the inside,

did the 1k include all the electrical and ac and batteries too?

No way this was all under $1k. Vinyl floor and ceiling, windows, insulation put you well over $1k. Not including the lumber, wiring, lights, batteries, water tanks, etc. I’m building on right now.

Warning ⚠️ Using pallet wood. Not only is it a nightmare to separate the wood, BUT, pallets are treated with hazardous chemicals to make them last a long, long time. Sanding, is bad enough, but to use this much in an enclosed space this small... Very bad idea, very bad

$1000 ?? You must be joking. My 12 x 6 cost me $2800 off the lot. That was the cheap part. The electrical system alone was over $2,000. The mattress was $430. The vent was just under $200. There is all the wood and fittings. It continues to cost more and more as it is improved and upgraded. This video is complete bs.
