You've just reminded me that I bought a Firefox C129 months ago that I'd forgotten about after one flight indoors but just found where I put it. I gave up on helis years ago after the cost of keep repairing Trex 500's and 700's. I wish I had the flybarless, altitude hold tech when I was flying the big boys. I've got my tiny copter on my desk now as a reminder to fly it outside next time there's little wind. Thanks for the reminder guys 👌🏼

I have had many issues with the flight control on my s3 after a crash. I am very impressed with the quality of xk. Today I was inverted and went full stick down instead of up and slammed it into the grass. Picked it up and it was fine. I thought for sure it was done in stability mode as I would anticipate with the blades I have.

@Jabanoflier2 жыл бұрын
I recommend that people get a tiny drone to learn orientation. Then you can practice in the house. Remember the rc rule, when the model is facing you, go to toward the low wing,or down side to straighten the model out. Also with helicopters you can get disorientated going back and forth between front and back. Tiny drones will alow you to crash and walk away. Use a simulator also. I practice taking off with the model facing me. Gotta be Johnny on the spot right from the get go.

I got my eye on this, which I will probably get around Christmas time. I got the goolrc c129 for 60 bucks a pop from Amazon at the time, and it comes with 3 batteries. What is the usual flight time for the k127? The ones I have can fly for 15 minutes but the charge to full takes forever. I got both colors, which I have the other as a back up if I destroy my first one. I'm impressed on the durability they have.

@@TheRcSaylors I was alone flying the Sport Cub S2. I lost control of mine near a school, not next to it. I was flying around the baseball diamonds way behind the school. The plane actually turned toward the school erratically then flew over the trees near the school then over the school. I had NO control of it. There was no wind either. Nothing more fun than to watch a 68 year old man running after a little plane that was possessed. I though it was gone, or at least I would have to go home and get a ladder and sneak on the roof of the school looking for it without getting busted. I got in my truck and drove around to the back of the school to the back parking lot. There it was sitting perfect in the middle of the parking lot, no damage. There is an R/C god. lol. There are no R/C clubs near me so I will have to look for a safer place to fly. The signal was definitely scrambled, I got lucky.

I just got mine yesterday. It's too big to fly indoors, and it's too small to fly outdoors. Even a light 5mph breeze will blow this poor little thing around. I just spent my lunchtime flying it in the backyard and the entire time all I did was try to keep it from being blown into my neighbor's yard. It's a tough little heli though, I must've crashed it a dozen times against the walls and nothing broke.
