Thanks Joel!!! Been patiently waiting for this review. I liked the 3s but they were too narrow for me when compared to my nanos. These look to have improved on that. Thanks again for all the awesome reviews! Keep ‘em coming!

Thanks Joe! Just picked up a pair of these online and your review confirmed it was the right choice :) Also fit true to size (I have slightly wider feet) and feel very comfortable right out of the box.

I've been trying to find good reviews on this shoe because I watched Jake's video on them, and I was super curious about them with that 2 mm drop. The 4s not the pros for me though lol

Thank you for yet another great review! I was stuck between these and the metcon 7's. This review cleared everything up. Keep doing your thing! Always look forward to your reviews! Anything to add about any of BPN products (based on you wearing his hat)? I actively watch his channel, and he is a true inspiration as a person and puts out some great videos.

All metcons upper is too stif for me, in comparison the UA tribase reighn 3 and 4 are amasing :)

@@R_Corp7 I went with the UAs and they fit great and have been a good shoe. I then saw the metcon 5s went on sale so I bought them. Before buying, I joined a chat to confirm the size knowing my reebok size. They told me to go a size down and it was too tight so I sent them back after waiting almost a month for my size to return and they never did. I recently bought the reebok X12s and like them. The reebok X's are by far my favorite shoe as they have held up the best and you can do anything in them.

@@laimanarbute4188 the metcons seem to be a great lifting shoe. However, run with them on like tieing a piece of stiff piece of cardboard to your feet. I would point you too reebok.

@@JD-gz5kk whell I was looking for the crossfit shoes mainly for lifting squats etc, not running shoes. If I am running ( big if) during hiit workout, they are good. But I feel too unstable doing any of the workouts in my running shoes 😁 And just a matter of personal preference..I dont like reebok shoes, any of them, puma fits my feet better..sometines nike.

Which is the best overall for lifting? (bench, overhead, squat, calf raises, lunges, deadlifts, etc) Tribase, metcons, dropset/trainer v, nano x2?

I have the 3s and the 4s and both are great, the 4s are definitely more stable but less comfortable, the 3s feel softer and more cushioned on my feet, but I prefer the 4s when it comes for lifting, I go for those for deadlifts for example, the toe control is way better in the 4s, as he said, and I love that because I struggle with that in my training. I really recommend this shoes, I think they are pretty similar to the metcons but not as expensive, at least in Latin America.

I waant them for day wear as well. Would you say the 4s have a good enough grip to last being out and about in the city? How about the 3s as well?

I'm looing for a really comfortable shoe for body building exercises - dumbbells, cables, squats, deadlifts and run, row, bike (I can use a different shoe for cardio if necessary). I don't like how firm and hard weightlifting shoes feel and I don't do Olympic lifts. I'm looking at the Project Rock 4, Reign, Metcon 7 or just a regular running shoe on the firm and supportive end of cushioning. Comfortable stability is my main concern - I'm not sure about the drop but i'm not used to low drop shoes.

If you’re just looking for a general trainer, I’d go with the project rocks. They’re also okay for the occasional run. The most stiff and stable shoe to lift in are Metcons. Reigns are also good but they’re not going to be as comfortable as the rocks.

Kinda of a weird one since Nano X in the beginning ran a little small but felt more normal towards the end of life cycle. Id say TBR3 are similar to how it was in the beginning in width, but a little more length. TBR4 are wider like the end of life cycle.

Hello Joe. Very nice review! I'm looking for a comfortable shoe for my wide feet. I wear Nano 8 but I've wore out my last pair. How do the Reign 4 (not the Pro) compare to the Nano 8 regarding width and comfort?

Flite 235v3 would be my pick...I love those shoes. But get whatever you think looks better and you won't be disappointed.

How would you say these compare to the Strike MVMNT haze trainers?

I think Strikes have a much nicer feeling midsole and are more flexible by a little bit. TBR's feel slightly more direct and are wider throughout. Stability is a wash but I prefer Haze.

UA just can’t seem to get shoes right no matter how much they try. They don’t make a single shoe in any category that can make claim to being the best or even top 3 option.
