Just some corrections: 11:00 You could place the die (third column) on an empty room. The ship would have landed on an explosion spot. 17:06 You should place the ship for respawn on the mothership, prior to placing them in a “docking” area. Having said that, it would have been placed in column 1 because it has the farthest ship. 29:20 white ships return to the mothership when they hit your city.

At 29:12 you're placing a die in 2nd column and move ships from 3rd. Afterwards you're placing a die on 4th column but you're not moving the ships in that column

this is a great video. i'd watched two other rules explanations/playthroughs for UFS, and this one is the one that made it click. you explained everything slowly and well.

In the last round couldn't you have placed the grey 3 and the grey 2 and then the white 2 to stop the remaining aliens moving? Also when the arrow on the mothership was pointing at the red skull on the right wouldn't that have ended the game? Thanks for the play through. Enjoy your videos and really like the look of this game.

Yeah, there were a lot of mistakes. He missed the 1 pip movmement on the actual last round, he gave himself 2 extra rounds... The mother ship moves and then resolves the negative effects (aka the ☠️) that the arrow on the ship is pointing at.

@@jayboozystokes6867 If you're doing a review and making lots of mistakes, it makes the review much less credible. He might know what he's talking about, but I stopped watching after a number of mistakes. The game isn't THAT complicated and it takes away from what he's trying to say.

This looks a lot like that old Space Invaders arcade game, with some XCOM elements thrown in. It appears to be a nice filler game, though I am intrigued what the campaign scenarios look like.
