Our second campaign - "Under Our Skin" - is dedicated to the topic of "microplastics in fashion" and appeals to decision-makers in politics and business to curb them through effective measures.
We strongly believe that international efforts and regulations are needed to reduce the amount of textile waste and increase the fashion industry's responsibility for the environmental impact of its products. It also requires an economic rethink that puts the planet before profit and proactive political action by the industry to restore the health of the ocean and planet as soon as possible.
In a portrait series, we will thematically represent five key issues related to the production of the synthetic material polyester: Fossil fuel extraction, Overconsumption, Microfibers, Fashion Colonialism and Healing. We will realize the photo series in partnership with Toni Meyer, Vibha Galhotra, Kobina Nyarko and other conceptual artists in Spring 2025.
