@brownbagz, all those trips she described they went on would have gone on either an apartment in a better neighborhood or a home. Sometimes we spend our money on the wrong things. I know she meant well but I wish someone could have told her to invest that money in a better community for her son..

Lmao pride of place has 0 to do with why Philly is the way it is. Philly, like most predominantly Black areas, has been historically looted for centuries. It's marred by governmental neglect and intentional concentrated poverty. Philly has a trash problem, yes, but the physical trash can be cleaned up, the socioeconomic trash is way more extensive, sinsister and far-reaching.
@starlettawilliams93
@starlettawilliams93 20 күн бұрын
Well the mayor is trying to clean up the streets of trash it's definitely not gonna happen overnight. I'm from North Philly but raised my kids in Mount Airy. I took my kids to the neighborhood I grew up in and my daughter was like mom why does the street look like an alley way. I told her because some people don't take pride in their neighborhood. I remember growing in the 80's we had weekly block cleanings. They are tryna bring that back as well.

The problem is that these kids don't have a positive father figure in their lives when they were growing up and they look at their homeboys and criminals as their role models. A lot of these men in the video are old with grey hair and beard, but they still haven't grown up. I feel sorry for these mothers. They give so much of themselves to their kids and they are so helpless in this situation.

Before there was court black families parental decision was decided upon by the slave master wives. Also here is some advice from someone that works in family court daily. These judges think they are just slave masters handling poor little black peoples family issues. It’s 2024 but we still behave like 1850’s. As an African American woman you don’t know what you are talking about. It is well known that the powers that be, put drugs and guns in the black community. I work in a place with hundreds of employees and there are less than a handful of full of black men and half of them are gay and that is for a reason. I run a small business on the side and someone in my townhouse community filed a complaint against me stating that I am running an illegal business, when I have a business license and I pay taxes. I have to go to court to prove it in two weeks. It’s called racism miss and it’s real.
