Air Date: 10/5/13. On this episode of Under The Radar Michigan, we explore Michigan's incredible Leelanau Peninsula. On the way up, we make a stop in beautiful Beulah for a drive around Crystal Lake, and a slice of Michigan tradition and history at The Cherry Hut. From there we make our way north to Empire for a classic Michigan beach, and some Grocer's Daughter Chocolates. Then we pile in the car and travel into the peninsula's interior to visit a winery that's rustic, raw and real. We'll also meet a chef who brought French country cuisine to Leelanau ... and head to Suttons Bay for chow that foodies are definitely finding at Martha's Leelanau Table. Suttons Bay Brewery (south of Suttons Bay);is a great stop. BEST views and great drinks.

Boskydel Winery is Clay's favorite little winery. Loved meeting Bernie, at "the old fart winery" in this episode!

Wait, did I hear her right, she doesn't use palm oil?! I hope that is what she means. That's great if she doesn't. I pray so. It would be nice to if they were to use non dairy or at least organic dairy. I don't hear of anyone in this area using organics from pizza to vodka. I would think that the more people that switch over to not using chemical laden wheat, dairy etc... that the price would go down for them. And if not, then just just ten more cents and cut cancer cases down for your brothers and sisters.

Fine but why mention vaccinations on the video thumbnail. Facts: the most vaccinated areas have seen a resurgence in covid cases, obstensibly the cause being the shedding by the vaccinations themselves.
