I remember. It made me think. Of how much, how many lives, entire life changing experiences are easily forgotten. If it weren't for us by chance, perusing some comments, nobody much else would ever know. This stresses me, scares me. Makes me want to be apathetic. Yet because it isn't recorded, affirmed by a 100k mass doesn't damn make his near death snow journey anything less impressive, or concerning, and sad. And invoke existential crisis. Know I am here, too, a comment in a comment. If my words affect even one mind, I'd be deeply grateful. Goodbye. You won't see me again. I'm not famous. I'm not being dramatic. 1 like is 1 person. -sincerely Uel

The tonal, yet atonal nature combined with simple wave forms makes for something truly special.
So I'd like to tell a little story if you care to read. I was in a bad place mentally after college and was bouncing between jobs. I landed a job at a papermill and was working 48-52+ hrs a week on a sort of swing shift schedule (hard to remember those details). It was rough, I had no weekends off and couldn't see my friends/family and I was just alone. I had no time to read, play games or do anything art related and it sent me into the dark. Depression hit super hard like a brick to the face and I just spiraled downwards to the point where I was just in a pit of despair. It was a rainy winters day for me and I just got done shoveling coal from under a conveyor belt and was black from head to toe in coal sludge and dust. I was cold, wet and done with life. I broke down and absolutely wept. I had been listening to KZfaq on my broken headphones and this song came on. I heard the moonbase alpha voice/fallen down and it made me do a 360 in my head. It quickly turned from me crying in the cold to laughing in a coal tunnel that echoed as I tried to hold it back. That was the moment for me, just me listening to a funny little song in a dark coal tunnel. I'm better now, so much better. I work in IT for a hospital, I have time off to spend time with family/friends and I can finally draw again, which fills my heart with joy. To anyone going through a rough patch, please hold on you can do it. Please cry, it's okay to cry and be sad but you have to be strong and keep going. Shits tough but you're tougher and that's a fact, even when the world seems against you. Remember "Despite everything, it's still you."

I usually I want to ease the thoughts a bit... but I swear I blacked out in those cold deep waters, the only memory conjoining the two from me sinking to suddenly waking up in a warm bed, almost as if it was all a dream... I can’t help but think that this song... this song that plays in my head ever so frequently here and there is the only link to the depressing truth, simply that I am freezing, and I am plunged into this uncanny world of denial, to which... this song will help me realize, and finally accept my tragedy and move on... but as of now, I am not ready... A lost astronaut begins to visually and auditorily hallucinate due to oxygen deprivation, this is the result.
@omegaotaku13424 жыл бұрын
Humanity managed to pierce the sky, being able to travel a celestial range. The cosmos await, and the heavens beckon... One of the astronauts took the Moonbuggy out for a ride. As he rode, he gazed up at Earth, and longed for the day he'll get to come home after his mission is over. But the Earth distracted him. The Moonbuggy's tire hit a rock at full speed and flipped over. He bounced and fell unconscious by the trauma. He woke up in a deep crater, hearing warnings of low oxygen. Confused and disoriented, he couldn't think straight without much oxygen. The astronaut, wounded by its fall, barely got up. And yet, he found himself reaching out to a motherly figure. Is it an angel or a hallucination? Is it supernatural, or is the deprivation getting to him? Whatever the case, he absentmindedly proceeds. He couldn't help but hear a faint song. Almost like a lullaby, charming him to sleep. He's fallen down, and the lullaby almost has the feeling of "you've worked hard, why not take a rest? It's okay." He passed out in front of the motherly figure, only to find himself waking up again in a strange world filled with magic and monsters, suspecting the motherly figure brought him to his bed. Still not knowing what's going on, he wishes he'll never wake up or leave this fantastic place. Is it okay to abandon friends and family for a world of fantasy, and never want to come back? Will they miss you? "You don't deserve to be part of such a cruel world, my child. Goodnight." Is this all just a dream, or the afterlife? If the former, is it really such a bad one? If the latter, why does his guardian angel manifest in such a way? Either way, the astronaut hasn't a care in the world anymore. This is paradise.

This song reminds me of the happier times, and unreplaceable memories of when it wasn't today. With the pandemic and all, this song is the filler of the hole inside my heart to stop it from sinking to the depths of my mind. It makes me feel happy, and sad at the same time, like it makes me happy to reminisce on the few moments where I'm actually, happy, but makes me sad because, you can't relive the same moment twice. I want to grab a time machine and go back to the more simpler times, instead of living in the scrambled mess we call now. The constant laughter ringing in my mind, shows that one small moment can stick with you for the rest of your life. This song is what keeps me going today. Its ambience, and simplicity is what makes this masterpiece a work of art. I know I will make more memories in the future, but the future isn't today. *_You never really miss a moment, until it becomes a memory_* - Someone on Reddit

This song makes me feel stuff that is so hard to put into words. The only thing that I could use to describe it is "existential". It doesn't remind me of happy memories or reminisce the past, instead it reminds me of a very strange feeling when I was a child. A feeling you get when questioning reality. The feeling of seeking a place that does not exist; a place that is neither out there or in any where. A comforting existential dread, if that makes any sense.

Probably my comment will get lost in the pile of others, but still. I’m a sergeant of Russian army. I stumbled upon this video for the first time just before I was assigned for long-range patrols. It was a cold winter. My night patrols were tough - snow, cold weather, lack of sleep. I was alone. I just had a rifle, a couple of magazines and cigarettes. And, to be honest, sometimes I was scared. Noone would want to go alone to patrol a shooting range, that’s surrounded by the forest full of wolves. However, the nights were beautiful. I could see many stars. And I don’t know why, but this song got stuck in my head somehow. It kept me awake. It warmed my heart, and maybe because of that, it kept me alive. You don’t want to become a food for a beast just because you fell asleep. And now, I stumble upon this video again two years later. That brought back feelings from the past. And I want to say - thank you, friend. P.S. Sorry for bad English. When I become emotional, I can make mistakes. Upd: I didn’t expect that my comment would be so popular, really. Thank you everyone for your kind words, I really appreciate it.

We may be different people with different ideals and beliefs but when this song plays it stirs a feeling deep inside of us. The world is so divided yet, such a simple combination of sound waves at different frequencies makes us feel the same. Maybe it isn’t about a single one of us but something more. It might be about all of us. All of us have forgotten but, we cannot miss what we don’t remember. So, we go on and the melody continues.

when I normally find a song that has a deeper meaning about life and death, I would normally stay awake the entire night, hoping not to die, but in this, I felt different. I slept so easily, knowing that there will be someone to take you away when you die, no matter what religion. It reminds me of the time I almost got hit by a car, and I had a flashback of my life, especially with my brother, as well as with my family. It just goes to show that life is like balancing on a thin line, and if you fall, than you fall into a pit of death, but the only way to enjoy life is to accept death, since you will never be able to enjoy anything if you were to always fear death and spend you entire life worrying about, and then when you die, you will regret never being able to enjoy anything. Moral of the story, accept death, and maybe, just maybe, SCP-4999 or Toriel will be there to take us away.

Thank you for being accepting of those of us who discovered it from the meme, most songs that trend from memes are met with comments like "i LiKeD iT bEfOrE iT wAs CoOL" ...It doesn't matter how someone finds music...if they enjoy it...that's what counts. :)

I saw a comment on this video a few years back, a comment from a Russian soldier who admitted this song kept him sane on those cold, starry nights on guard duty alone, hoping there were no wolves around. For some reason that story stuck with me. Dude could barely speak my language but had every bit of a human connection to music as me. You forget how similar we all are in the end.

Steve the astronaut spent his whole life searching for life in the cosmos. One fateful day, Steve cable cord disconnects from the shuttle. There is nothing he can do. Steve drifts for hours. With little oxygen left in his tank, the astronaut begins to fall out. Perhaps it was a hallucination, or the thing Steve has been searching for his whole life, but he could’ve sworn he saw a figure, smiling back at him. He blacks out. Steve wonders. What happens after death? Was his life for nothing? He ponders this for an extensive amount of time in his dream state. The astronaut, exhausted, wakes up, in a yellow batch of flowers.

People when fallen down: eh its aight People when fallen down but the notes are ba: I can't seem to stop coming back to this video. The singing of the iconic TTS robot fills a hole in my heart that I didn't know existed, and as the chorus rings out and reverberates against the walls of the narrow corridor of our lives, we all seem to stop and stare into space. The immaculate hymn and hum that what was once sung by angels and far dead souls of our world is given a rebirth. The previously lifeless robotic voice is given a brief sentience, that sentience being this song. Now, my brothers and my sisters, even though we may not be related, we are ever more close than ever as we listen to this song. This song summons a far distant and forgotten memory within all of us. Even though we may not be given the chance to properly remember it, we remember it in spirit. The long gone angels and far forgotten peoples whose names are forgotten, they all come together one last time to sing this song. The dead and dying gods smile and sing along as this song continues to be sang out. But for those who still breath the air on our earth, we aren't forgotten. We are there too, singing song and having joyus chorus. We sing in the choir of gods creations. Even though we may not realize it, our flaws and imperfections add to the choir, they make us who we are, and what we are is perfectly imperfect. A tear is shed for those who cannot remember, and for those who won't. But for those out there, contemplating on ending their own life, think twice my long distant friend. Even though it seems like your alone, you aren't. I've had my fair share of tears shed, and I've had my fair share of biases and flaws, I've had my fair share of controversy and my fair share of fun. I've made friends and lost them, I've gained trust and lost it. But something I won't lose is my memory of this song. As we all stand, dead and alive, I start taking my final breaths. But as my terminal breath draws near, I think of this song, and suddenly, death isn't so bad. Even though I shall die, I shall also join in the broken and fractured chorus that is this song. I wish you all a happy life, I know I had mine.

To me, toska is looking at my neighbor's yard Since 4th grade for 4 years, me and 4 others (including neighbor/his little brother) would go outside to his house. We'd make so many games, some serious, some stupid, but all of them had nuance and charm to them. We also made so many inside jokes it was incredible. When they moved in July, everybody was so sad. Nowadays, it's just me and the 2 other friends. Don't get me wrong, it's still fun going outside with them and we can still chat with the 2 who moved even though they're in Virginia now, but whenever I look at their house it pains me that entering would now be considered trespassing. It fills me with lots of nostalgia, with hints of sadness, desire, and peace. Thanks, guys, for creating awesome memories I will never forget

The wire the wire THE FUCKING WIRE- He's lost. He has no idea where he is anymore. The void expands into infinity. He floats. Drifts. Emptiness. His ship was hit by a stray asteroid, so he'd gone outside to repair it. Then another came. And now he's here. Lost in the vast nothingness, the universe deaf to his cries for help. Earth is an uncountable number of miles away. So he floats. Drifts. Emptiness. Then a song comes to his mind. It was a simple tune his mother would hum to him at night whenever he couldn't sleep. And, in the vast, empty cosmos, in the utterly black void, he sees her face. His mother. Humming that tune. A lullaby. Calling him to sleep. It's been hours. Oxygen is almost out. It's cold. The heat from his body is slowly sapped away. But his mother's face remains with him, humming the tune. So he hums along. No one could hear him. No one but the phantom of his mother, floating in the space between every world. Humming. Safety. Peace. Tired. Suffocating cold lost scared mom lost scared mom I don't wanna die please scared lost space void empty mom please mom anyone please mom mom I miss you I miss home I miss mom I miss bed I miss sleep mom please mom mom mom it's okay honey. It's okay. You don't need to be scared anymore. Just hum along. It's time for rest. Sleep, honey, sleep. Sleep. It's interesting coming back to this song and this story after a year. I never would've thought it'd be the way I did either, lol. A funny man's funny face and this song. Funny. Maybe today I wouldn't have written this the way I did, but I'll keep it how it is. I only write stories like this on the spot, in the moment. This was my thoughts at the time, the way I could tell the story of this video, this song. So I hope you guys are okay today.

Drifting through the endless void, the astronaut’s mind began to unravel, untethered from the reality of his dire situation. The soft melody of a haunting lullaby that seemed to emanate from the stars themselves. Each note twisted and turned, morphing into visions of vibrant alien landscapes that beckoned him to explore. He saw himself wandering through fields of bioluminescent flora, their glow pulsating in rhythm with the music. Creatures of light and shadow danced around him, inviting him to join their silent waltz. The cosmos spun overhead, a tapestry of color and sound that overwhelmed his senses. But as the song reached its crescendo, the visions grew more intense and chaotic. The astronaut felt the pull of unseen forces, drawing him deeper into the hallucination. He reached out to touch the phantoms, but they slipped through his fingers like mist. In this dreamscape, he was no longer lost or alone. He was part of the universe, a note in the symphony of existence. And as his oxygen levels dwindled, he surrendered to the illusion, finding peace in the beautiful lie his mind had woven. The music faded, and the stars dimmed, leaving the astronaut adrift in the silent expanse, a serene smile etched upon his face as he fell into an eternal slumber.

A young man tried to get into NASA all his life, for 11 years sending applications and during those 11 years he was rejected. He did not give up after 12 years he was about to give up but his wife and children made it this time. in person to leave the application to enter NASA, he was finally able to enter with a master's degree in engineering, a pilot, he speaks Russian, German, Chinese, Spanish, and English. In his training as an astronaut, he failed several times in the penultimate test, he managed it, he finally passed In town, one day his coach went on a mission (the Columbia) he was very excited to see his friend leave planet Earth but.... Something bad happened, a part of the ship detached and Calderón went into the atmosphere. as fast as he could to see what happened...It was already too late, all the crew members had died...After 3 years he was going to go to space prepared to honor everyone, he decided he agreed to go, he was there for 12 long months when he returned. With this concept just imagine, you are a astronaut, whose space crashed and you are low on oxygen. You know you aren’t going to survive, so you just float around, waiting for death to do it’s part. You get memories of how you’re life was on earth, and think, “why did I even become a astronaut”. You’re oxygen is about to run out, and before you close your eyes, you see a lady with horns, and a robe. You reach out to her, and then you feel calm, and then you feel nothing at all.

You grew up playing your father's old games from when he was a kid, and you've absolutely fallen in love with the one called Undertale. Goat mom was your favorite character, but you haven't seen her in years. Fast forward, it's 2063, you're on the first manned mission to Mars. Everything is going well, but an unexpected asteroid hits your shuttle and sucks your crew into the vacuum of space. The only reason you've been spared is that you were doing spacewalk, checking any outside damage. You drift through space unable to even get a message back to Earth. You know that you're going to die out here, but you knew the risks when you accepted the mission. As you reach the last bits of oxygen left. you start to see your dear beloved character from childhood. You reach towards her in hopes to say goodbye to one last thing you loved...
