There was a episode recently on ignition KZfaq channel about buying discontinued cars, also depends on make and model.

I have had some dodgy experiences with one of their branches - the vehicle was falsely advertised and to their credit, our deal was scrapped immediately once this was established (more than 80k+ undisclosed damages to the drivetrain). They informed us that this vehicle would not be resold to the public, but 1 month later it was back up for sale on their website with the same Dekra report (same date as the report I viewed before purchasing the car). It is alarming that someone else bought a vehicle that WBC KNEW was clearly unsafe. If you are intending to buy from them, insist on an outside inspection if possible.

Im impressed by the fact that WeBuyCars have a 'symbiotic' relationship with content creators. It can only be a win win then.
