perhaps THE most perfect and almost spiritual encapsulation of what electronic music and techno can mean to us humans. this track is techno's equivalent to kubrick's '2001 - a space odyssey'. pensive, questioning, utterly serious and still deeply powerful, energetic and fresh and strong and acidically bouncing. i can think of many amazing techno tracks throughout the years and decades, but none has this confidence and epic sense of discovery and longing.

First time I heard this was DJ Lewis playing at an early Orb gig in 92, coming out of a massive wall of speakers as I was coming up on a particularly strong pill. It was a "what the fuck is this???" face melting moment that I still get every time I hear it now 30 years later. Mad Mike has captured the sound of the forces of the universe at play and the planets align to create a piece of music that is truly timeless.

I took a trip to this city I go to from time to time, just to walk around. There's this park, a failed project by the city. An overgrown botanical garden ringed by a huge brick wall. Last time I was there, two brick clock towers stood on one end of the garden. They had always been abandoned. Now they are gone, and the place is gated off. Those two buildings had taken up space in my head for so long. I care so much about the stupidest things. Anyway, this song encapsulates how I feel more or less.

its one of those tracks which have a light composition but make you move like crazy. lovely transition track when you want to go deeper with the set, or go back and start to finish the set off

tbh its not about love. kind of ... its fighting for love - fighting for the the real humans and what we had n still have. real techno is about the issues in this system, a rebellion till it was infiltrated

True. I merely think the music taste of today's youth can't be regarded as some sort of a standard. I think youth has no guidance today, they have the net but no idea what to search for. So they stick to the trash pop/rap the main(mean)stream media feed them with.

@@sooperheep you know the tb-303 and tr-808 are both analog machines, and they are both made by the Japanese. You just mad detriot techno and electro mean the same thing want me to call this electronic dance music?. It's acid because the sounds of the Roland tb-303 and the drum pattern is 4/4 techno common time bro.
