Hey everyone! Did you know you can use the C string on your ukulele like a bass? Well, it might not be a bass note technically, but it’s the lowest note you’ve got, so let’s Make use of it.
In this video, I’m showing you a simple way to make the most of that C string and get your ear tuned to it. We’ll be using two chords: E minor and G major. I’ll teach you a specific finger pattern that you’ll practice with your four fingers. It might be tricky at first, but stick with it!
Once you’re comfortable, you’ll add the chords with your left hand. We’ll repeat the finger pattern four times on each chord. I’ll set a metronome so we can play together-because practicing is way better than just listening!
So grab your uke, and let’s have some fun learning to groove with the bass of the ukulele!
