Dr Roselli saved my life in March of 2019. I had an aortic aneurysm on the ascending side at the aortic root. While my valve was good it was located inside the aneurysm which was a problem because the aneurysm had to be cut out. Dr Roselli performed a Modified David Procedure, which meant saving the valve and then sewing it inside the dacron graft I got. Not gonna lie, the whole thing was a bit scary. Cleveland Clinic took great care of me and I can say that two years later I'm doing good. Dr Roselli is a great guy. Good sense of humor and easy to talk to. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else or not having him fix this type of problem.

Interesting... this video is over 6 years old today... I have been diagnosed with an Ascending Aortic Aneurysm & Bicuspid Valve... Spoken to several doctors (Cardiologist and Cardiologist surgeons) now and NONE of them referred to this as a "disease".

I had my bicuspid aorta stenosis valve replaced 12. 4. 16 It was only 49 % opening. Dr James Klein Englewood Hospital. NJ. Feel pretty good. But aware of time is running ....

I'm 62 years old and have high blood pressure although most times under control. I was told my aortic handle is 4.6 I'm due for another cat scan very soon.they said if its close to 5 they want to do surgery I'm freaking scared to death. Of that issue and the surgery itself. I also have AF which I've been on eloquis and propenthenol. It helped for about a year but even that is getting worse. Do you think it's safe to take care of both issues at the same time??? My niece st 39 had an attic dissection almost didnt make it. She never smoked or drank no high bp or any other health problems we are the only 2 in our very large family. I wish you were in kC Mo What would be your opinion??

Hi Margie, Yes, it is common to take for two cardiac conditions to be fixed simultaneously. Those procedures are commonly referred to as concomitant procedures. I hope that helps!
