I am new to golf, like a month or so. I keep hitting 7-iron with a launch angle around 22-25 degree. Is it normal or too large?

it depends on the 7 iron loft you use. But generally the optimal launch angle for 7i is about 16-18, it is normal for the beginner to hit over 20 tho.

The MLM in the video is showing a Pitching Wedge, but looking at the numbers i am assuming you are not hitting a 173 yd PW and that you are actually using a 7-iron or 5-iron?

But if the launch angle is lower, and swing speed stays the same, could one argue that the second shot could go further based on the roll? How do you account for that?
