Teachers need to understand what makes a good test but many teachers are unsure of the key concepts and specialised technical vocabulary associated with Assessment Literacy. This webinar will explain in everyday language what teachers need to know about key areas of test design. The presenters will also focus on how testing relates to the classroom, and how testing leads to effective teaching and learning.

Educators must already know the purpose of the assessment is to measure the ability or competence of students after the implementation of the learning process. and this webinar is very helpful for Measure the student's ability

Very concise and professional!! I'm struggling with assessing my Chinese kindergarten students' English levels, and stumbled upon this webinar in my search for more resources. Although this was a tangent of knowledge to the answers I am seeking, I'm glad I stuck around and watched, as it was ultimately interesting and very informative. Ongoing assessment seems far more worthwhile than summative assessment, which is variable and potentially unrepresentative due to an infinite number of external factors at one, random, specific point in time (health, sleep, digestion, life events, mood, etc. -- all doubled, i.e., on the part of the student and evaluator). This is not the Olympics where the only meaningful measure is how fast a runner can do the mile at 10:00 A.M. on a specific Friday, or some such, and all of his other running performance is meaningless.
