What is mean bhairvai=ascedant is she reduces the malefic effects on lagn & lagnesh please reply,i m very curious to know because all planets are in bad position in my kundali & my lagn & lagn lord both degreewise weak & i heard from many astrologer that strong lagn & lagn lord reduces the most of the ill effects & bad yogas of othe r planets in kundali,so please tell me is maa bhairavi strengthen lagn & lagn lord & reduces malefic effects on lagn ??

Good video on the story behind the Mahavidyas. These are the associations of grahas with the Mahavidyas I commonly come across in most sites. However these are just one set of interpretations. In the tantric paddhati and guru lineage I belong to I am taught Ma Bagla is associated with Jupiter ( she is pitambari) , Ma Matangi with Mars ( Matangi”s ucchishta form is what you are refering here to I see, but her Rajarajeshwari form is a soft benign form of complete sweetness. She represents the guru tattwa and is the goddess of beauty, happy marriage and all things mangalkari or auspicious.) Her worship reduces malefic effects of Mars. Dhoomavati is associated with Shani ( remember her vahan is the crow). It is her shakti that is with Shanidev. Yes as Dhoomavati”s worship protects from all negative entities, her worship can also control malefic effect of not only Ketu but Rahu also. The rishi of many of her mantras is Rishi Pippalad. Through perfecting her Sadhana he gazed at Shanidev and made him fall down. It is said that if one chants Rishi Pippalads name Shsnidevs malefic effects cannot reach him. Mahavidya worship is NOT to be undertaken without guru diksha from a qualified Guru who himself has Siddhi of the mantras, and should NEVER be done to harm any living being. It will backfire badly and harm the sadhak.

Very interesting. Thank you! I have heard that Tripura Sundari Shodashi is associated with Moon, and Matangi with Mercury and Sun. How about the association of Dus Mahavidyas with Nakshatras? Kali with Purva Bhadrapada, Tara with Uttara Bhadrapada, Matangi with Revati, Swati with Bhuvaneshwari, Dhumvati with Jyeshtha, Ashlesha with Baglamukhi, etc.? 💗

Sai Ram Mr Kamath, This is a wonderful explanation, did not know how the ten Maha Vidyas relate to the planets. Given the fact that I am going through Maha Shani dasa and Sade Sati I should be worshipping Kali, but that requires special care. Once someone invited Ramakrishna for dinner, he noticed a pic of Kali on their wall, Ramakrishna told the host that unless you worship Kali you should not put up her picture. Jai Sai Ram Biresh

You video enlighten me the connection of 10 MahaVidya with 9 planets. I had a chance to visit Kamakhya ( several times ) where 10 mahavidya temple are located. I also visited Rajrappa ( Jharkhand) where Chinna Masta temple is located. One can not workship some of the goddess like tara/ Dhumabati/ Chinna Masta in their home. Baglamukhi - but these are ugra deities ,so do not chant without guidance of guru ,rather you can pray to skanda /Karthikeyan
