I traded some white (G-J) diamonds for some very light yellow diamonds (N-R), because I think the yellow diamonds compliment yellow gold, better --- I don't really care about color clarity (value), as much as appearance, and what looks good showcased on myself. At the end of the day; they're still diamonds....

I bought a watch from this guy on bidz way back in the day like 13 years ago. Still rocking that watch today.

The four C's: Cut, Color, Carrat and Clarity. Each has as purpose and an usage. In certain circumstances each plays a role, some more than others. Me personally, I'd prefer color and cut over carrat and clarity. Just my opinion, all the online gemologists can preemptably calm down. lol A nice cushion cut diamond, 1 carrot with D color is more appealing to me than a huge 5 carrot VS with a horrible color and or cut. But if I were to ice out a Rolex (which degrades and diminishes value to said Rolex) SI and under all day. It about the look at that point not value.

When they are microscopic diamond like that who cares about the clarity. There are four C's not just clarity. Rappers seem not to care about the two main C's, Cut & Carat.

For anyone who actually cares, buy certified diamonds and then you won’t need to take anyone’s word. GIA for natural and IGI for lab grown. Most labs are IGI because GIA only started grading them like 17 minutes ago, and just remember IGI tends to be SLIGHTLY more lenient on their grading, but if you look online at dual certified diamonds, the difference honestly averages out to being one grade lower on color/clarity 1 out of every 3 times

Thank you. I just got the same trick played on me today. Went to Kays and got a "Leo" diamond ring for my girl. I asked the manager multiple times is this VS and she said it's a Leo it's our own diamond. I should have known she was dodging the question. Got home and read the GIA card and it's an SI. Paid 11K, not happy.

jewelry can be made with any quality diamonds. it all depends on your budget. if you cant afford white VS diamonds you get lower color SI diamonds. IF youre being lied to then your dealing with a crooked jeweler which gives reputable jewelers a bad look. You can go and get your diamonds checked out by an appraiser. If the diamonds are not what the jeweler says or states on the paper work you can get your money back. You only scam yourself by not being educated

Either way, it looks good. I really don't care about the clarity. Long as it looks good. At the end of the day, it's still some sort of diamond that looks pretty.

Most of the rappers in the industry are wearing si2 and si3 diamond clarity which is a good clarity diamond. To me it's all about the color, I have a i3 clarity diamond h in color and I swear it's so clean you couldn't tell unless you examine them through a microscope. I put it next to my vs2 diamond bracelet from blue nile and they shine the same. When it comes to I clarity diamonds I buy cluster or pave and the reason is they are more cleaner than solitaire diamonds and I also make sure my diamond jewelry is certified with the GIA certificate. See a lot of people think just cuz rappers glorify vs-vvs clarity so much that they really have that clarity like this guy said in the video. It's easy to pass a clean low clarity diamond off as a vs clarity because the buyers dont know the difference. I've seen rich people buy jewelry and let's just say they don't worry about clarity at all they just want real diamonds at affordable prices so basically the jewelry business is a hype especially the hip hop jewelry business because it has no good resale value like regular fine jewelry has. I'm going to give an example, I purchased a hip hop rolex 36mm datejust with a custom 5ct diamond bezel and dial and I paid $7,000 for it from a unauthorized rolex dealer then I purchased a plain preowned rolex day date 2 41mm plain from lee Michael's which is an authorized rolex dealer for $11,000+ and I went to sell my 36mm custom diamond rolex at a pawn shop and the guy offered me $1,900 for it and nothing more. Than I showed him the 41mm day date rolex that I purchased from lee Michael's and he said now we're talking I can give you $4,500 for this one. Hip hop jewelry doesn't hold value like fine luxury jewelry from a high end well known jewelry store does.
