Hey man. I am not sure if it’s this video or another but thanks for the tip about happy bait. Went out yesterday in pv kelp beds and was able to eliminate some areas based on that info. Thanks

I went just outside of point loma - I thought the weather would be nice as it said that the wind was 5kt or less with Mixed swell 3 ft at 11 seconds and Wind waves 1 ft or less. It was really windy and the swells seemed like constant rollers to me. Perhaps I looked up the wrong location, any pointers on how to read this? I was under the impression it would be a nice day.

Sometimes the weatherman gets it wrong. Yesterday was an unseasonably warm day inland and that usually means increased winds on the water.

@@eriklandesfeind7723 is there a way to check actual results for a specific day? I want to put In memory what the wind and wave height was yesterday at Point Loma so I can make the call before I got out, or pick a different location in the future.

Yes, Like Landesfeind said- Unfortunately you can't always rely on the weatherman.
