If you have to be able to view him as a primary ball handler in order to consider him top 5 then I get not having him there. Personally I don't. Over the years I've learned to value the guys that feel like safe role players in the low end outcome more than most people. So I'm not afraid to place them high.

His father developed into an amazing shooter coming off screens in his senior year with a quick release, high lift and a defender in his face. Reed is so far ahead of his father at this stage. Pitino tried running Jeff at PG but it was a disaster. I believe for many reasons he'll probably stay another year. Wishful thinking probably.

All I'm gonna say is that Reed is more Seth Curry than Steph Curry, he's not a Top 5 pick IMO even in a draft as weak as this one at the top.
