Ashes of Creation just announced a new potential technology for the MMO that could really have a big impact on what there is to be expected. Or.. it could be nothing of great excitement compared to what we see in a lot of modern MMORPG's. So what's with this hype?

Server Meshing is just when two servers like each other and they stick things in each others Ethernet ports

Star Citizen Static Server meshing is also different then the others. It's more seamless, so much so that you can interact with the other servers using guns. So shooting things and people on the other server.

Great video, one of the best takes I've seen on this topic these days. Sensible and keeping your feet on the ground. Pretty stoked for the stream. We know they have dedicated a lot of time and effort and Plannindorf deemed it very complex the other day, so I have high expectations for it. To be fair, watching the tech side of things and how it's done is always a blast for those of us that enjoy that stuff :)

Idk what you all are high on but I haven't seen them say the word DYNAMIC at all lmfao. It's just server meshing until they announce the word "dynamic" Don't set yourself for disappointment guys.
