Hi everyone. Neutral colors are an important part of any painting. Without them, your work can seem too loud, or boring, or just unable to grab an audience's attention. Neutrals help to direct your audience's eye; they show where to go by providing a place to rest.
Think of you painting like an orchestra. During the warm up, everything is load and unorganized. But once the performance begins, you can clearly hear each instrument. The conductor separates the instruments in a similar way that neutrals help to separate your painting.
