8 жыл бұрынI wanted this to be super epic but I think all I ended up doing was make it ridiculously hard to work with. I've never had a project that likes to stutter and crap the bed this hard before - perhaps some optimizations are in order. It's a bit messier than I'd like, but I've already spent a ton of time on this so I don't think it's going to get any better unless I rewrite it from scratch. Maybe I'll do that one day.

This is easily my favourite remix of this tune to date. You capture the rising pace of the song, but keep it interesting by adding layer after layer of different sounds, which is where a lot of other mixes lose my attention. I'm a big fan of the guitar sounds you used too, very metal. Just excellent!

Ok, so yeah, it's true, this is EXTREMELY hard to work with. Going from soft to loud, peaceful to insane, feelsy to bloodlust-inducing, this song can't decide what it wants to be. The thing is, that doesn't stop this from being the most truly epic BAaTH remix I've ever heard, as well as the most powerful. If you don't mind, I'd like to list this as the theme of one of my AU Undynes.

+Stone McKnuckle An AU is an Alternate Universe. For instance, like Devino mentioned, UnderFell is an AU in which everyone is super edgy and red-coloured. UnderSwap is an AU in which the major duos (Sans and Papyrus, Alphys and Undyne, ASGORE and TORIEL, Mettaton and Napstablook, ect.) all have their personalities and situations swapped. IE, Alphys is head of the Royal Guard and Undyne is the Royal Scientist. This particular AU involves Sans pretty much ODing on DETERMINATION and suddenly remembering past LOADS, allowing him to learn from Chara during their battle, just like Chara learns from Sans. They fight literally forever. Meanwhile, Alphys rebuilds Undyne's SOUL from it's fragments, and it floats around. When the Human finally kills Sans (6000 years after the fight started) and goes after the last surviving monsters, Undyne reforms herself out of literally nothing but pure DETERMINATION, kind of an Undying squared.

+Pixel Rick While I'm definitely not about to chase after people who upload my stuff, I'd like for it to stay on my channel. People seem to have a tendency to not understand that the video uploader isn't necessarily the content creator, which is kind of lame. I've also seen plenty of cases where an uploader's video has like 100 times the view count of the original creator, and that's just sad. Thanks for the encouraging words though. :>

I think the way it works is that once the video's picked up enough views, it'll get recommended on videos with a high level of traffic and similar content (ie other Battle Against A True Hero arranges/remixes), and people get directed to your video. One of my friends had a similar thing happen with some of their Payday videos that started racking up ridiculous view-counts after an arbitrary point in time.

I found this at random when I was looking for Undertale remixes, and dear lord... I honestly cannot get over how amazing this is. The introduction is spectacular, the kick into the main song is just right, and I love how you extended and repeated the main portion going into the ending. I can't imagine what kinds of technical problems you had to go through to end up with this masterpiece, but I assure you the end result was more than worth it.

This would be great for an Undertale movie. The only thing is that the pacifist and genocide routes would probably be separate productions. One being the first to be released, then the next one the other route, but there are signs of characters knowing it's your second time through. That would be awesome to see!

Nope, it is very easy to see. It is video game plot which advances trough interactive choices made by anonymous person. It would simply suck as movie, you can ask any movie producer. Great games dont often translate to good movies.

Let me just start off with saying: I have never heard a better undertale remix. the only one that comes close is WoM. This song literally made my vision swim and gave me chills so hard that I had to sit down in my school hallway because my mortal body could not handle the auditory nectar and ambrosia that was rushing, torrent like, down my ear canals. It took me a full day and 14 hours of sleep to recover from this remix. I cannot express enough how fucking excellent this is. You, sir, are a God.

I love the new perspectives this remix brings, the transition from a more relaxed tone to guitar is amazing without breaking the atmosphere of the song or feeling out of place. Outside of that, the quality of the song is great with loads of detail that make you feel engaged with the song. The feeling of a main guitar over a orchestral background is something I honestly haven't thought of until now. The acoustic guitar later in the song though gave me fucking eargasms, shit that was sexy. Keep up the good work. :)

I really like this cover, most remakers just change the sound a little and that’s it. You you really made this your own. The 47 second mark is what had me, that small part of the song is so freaking epic. I can just image it playing in a anime and suddenly the protagonist is going so fast that there nothing more than a swirl of colors. I listen to this all the time when writing my own fight scenes. Love this piece!

I have been listening to this song for like 3 years now and holy shit do I bang it out on the daily. You are such a god in the flesh. I can feel every single accent and each dynamic change no matter how subtle gives me goosbumps. You captured the essence of this song and infused it with a metal thunderbolt and it's just so fucking awesome. I absolutely love how you aren't like most metal that just blares the whole time, there is so much definition and especially towards the end where it slows and gets quiter just to throw into the final push, you save the best for last and end it with an incredible explosion of sound. When I litsen to this song, my brain is in a state of reverse depression. Just pure fucking pleasure.

Not many notices or finds out themselves that Undyne is the hopes and dreams of the world. Not many notices that Undyne is the symbol of hopes and dreams. Many have yet to realize that Undyne has been stronger and more determined than any human you have ever met. Yet even after telling this much, there is still a lot more about this character.

She knows she is likely fighting a losing battle. Yet she still fought to the best of her ability and gave everyone in the underground enough time to evacuate. A true hero. Sans also knows he can't win against the main character, yet he continues to fight to exaustion. I've always wondered why Sans keeps fighting even when he knows there is no point. I guess he has a slimmer of hope that he can get through to the main character and get them to go down a better path.

@@SantanaBanana47 The reason he continues fighting is not to kill you, no it's actually designed to make YOU quit. His fight is designed for you to rage quit. That's why he cheats in his fight. The only way he can beat you is to make you quit and reset not just to kill you.

Such an amazing track, and an even more amazing remix! I believe that this may have been the very first video of yours that I ever saw! I was in the throes of the peak of the Undertale fandom, ravenously consuming all fan art of all forms I could, enjoying the hell out of all the amazing things that Toby Fox's amazing game had inspired. I listened to your remix here, and then the Spider Dance one, I believe, and I subscribed. I was originally hoping that by being subscribed, I would hear more awesome Undertale remixes from you, but you showed me so much more awesome stuff that I am so grateful to have found, and if you had not dabbled in Undertale remixes back in '16, I likely would not have found them! Also, awesome selections for the art!

Damn +Stone McKnuckle considering how you feel about it, I think it came out pretty amazing. I don't think I've heard many of your remixes but if this is any indication you're really good at what you do. I've recently become somewhat addicted to this song and Asgore so I've been going through a crapton of vids on YT and this is definitely the most original of all of the BAaTH remixes. Again, excellent work, and if you ever decide to revisit it then hell, we'll take that too!

I'm only at 0:49 and daum it sounds sweet! Don't put yourself down after all that hard work and "determination". This is one of the best remixes of battle against a true hero I've heard. "You're meeting all my standards" in this remix.

I've answered this in the comments already, but I'll save you the trouble of digging it up: Sequencer: FL Studio 12 Guitars: Impact Soundworks Shreddage 2 or Prominy V-Metal. Both of these are great, but Shreddage is cheaper so start with that. Bass: Scarbee Pre-Bass or Prominy SR5 Rock Bass. I prefer Scarbee and use it for bass leads, but SR5 has a thicker sound more suited for metal. Drums: Toontrack Superior Drummer. Practically anything from Toontrack is really good, so just pick the cheapest option and go to town. Synths: FL Studio native patches, reFX Nexus and/or Cakewalk z3ta+ Amplifiers: Guitar Rig 5 and/or ReValver Mk II

Man, the 4:52 part sounds so good, you just nailed it! This orchestra with metal elements blended very well. I can't really describe how many emotions are there, but they are absolutely fitting those emotions which Undyne had during the fight :D And overall this remix is so anime, like, even anime itself isn't that much anime xD By the way I was here since 2000 views and so glad that this remix is so popular now!
